Our local Lowe's store has huge inflatable Halloween decorations, plastic pumpkins and other decorations out! Hobby Lobby is a dream-come-true, with all of the Fall and Christmas decorations out. Even the local dollar store has Halloween candy out.

We went many years in a row!! It was the only time of year we would see our sil! She was a bit of a hermit! (to put it mildly) My bro helped w/ the architecture of the venue we always watched them at, so he could always get us excellent seats! So, so fun!!

That is very cool!!

Yes, it really adds extra oomph to your holiday spirit!!

Hi friends! I’ve been MIA the past couple weeks, I know, but my family and I have been busy - camping and do other various things together. The kids go back to school a week from tomorrow.

I could use some prayers for tomorrow. I have a job interview, which will take me on a slight different path then what I am used to, but it’s still in nursing. I would be all daylight, no weekends, or holidays, which as my kids get older, I want more and more. If they offer me a job, it’s mainly go to depend on pay and benefits, but we’ll see how it goes!

I hope all is well with each one of you! Hope you’ve all had a great weekend!

Good morning MMC!! It sure is Monday!! I left my phone at home! Grrrrr! I'm hoping to run home & get it when my boss comes in for break at 9:00! Just incase there is an issue at Moms. I don't like to not have my phone!
Not much going on today besides work, then grocery! It's supposed to rain/storm later today! We had bright sunshine this morning but now it's starting to cloud up a bit!
I hope you all had a nice weekend! We had fun at the lake, with good food & drink - as always! I made cinnamon rolls for my hubby's b-day Saturday morning - that is such a process. LOL! I needed a nap Saturday afternoon after getting up so early to get them done!! So I requested he make cinnamon rolls for my b-day next month! HA! Actually he gave me an early b-day present yesterday...we are going to a Buckeye game!! Our seats are 26 rows from the field! Looking forward to it!

What an awesome early birthday gift!! I have only been to one Buckeyes game but what an amazing experience to be there!! I had so much fun at that game, as I'm sure you will both too! Go Bucks! O-H

So sweet!! And do they chase each other all over the house in the middle of the night?? My friends cats sound like they are crazy in the middle of the night!

Oh yes! Every so often, they get the urge to wake mommy and daddy up thru the night, lol! Sometimes, they think they are on the race track running as fast as they can, chasing each other.

But usually after the first time, Jill gets up and closes the door. Me, if I’m asleep, a bomb could go off and I’d probably just roll over and go back to sleep.

Every once in awhile Shiloh will jump up in the bed, and start rubbing her head on my whiskers, purring and meowing, wanting some attention. So, after she has woken me up, I give her some scratching, petting and rubbing her head and then she’s happy and just snuggles up next to me and goes to sleep.

Hello all.

It has been a busy day. Trying to get everything done before school starts this week. Tomorrow is Open House and then my school starts on Tuesday. My wife starts on Wednesday.

I have completed my thesis! A week early no less! I submitted it this evening and it will be read by 2 professors who will then provide feedback for any needed edits. Then I will have a week to complete those edits and send it back in for final approval. It ended up being 127 pages including intro stuff and bibliography. I am so glad to have it done! Now is the waiting for the grade part. lol

Good morning friends & happy Monday!!!!
Had a nice quiet evening last night, the rain came down hard, lots of thunder and lightning. I put on a hot pot of lentil soup topped with lots of Parmesan cheese and fresh crispy bacon, YUM! Not much going on here today... walked with the pup early this morning for an hour and I was surprised when a brave friendly kitty ran up to say hello to Gandalf lol! She was adorable. Gandalf was very curious, he hasn't seen many other kitties besides Autumn!

That is such a cute picture of Gandalf meeting a kitty cat. Gandalf seems curious, does he pull at all when he sees other animals? I couldn’t let Loki anywhere close to a cat or other type of animal, he’s too crazy and the cat would just give him a beating I think.

It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 75 degrees. Not too much going on here this morning, I'm just working on some chores around the house. I’m going to look at apartments later this afternoon, my youngest and her fiancé have decided to move in together. My babies are all flying the coop. Not sure how I feel about it. Wish I could turn back the clock!

Merry Monday!

Rain is on the way!! Yay!!!

Today I made pear butter for the first time. It turned out okay, but if I make it next year I think I'll add more orange peel and ginger to it as it was a bit on the sweet side. I even cut the sugar by a quarter and it was too sweet. Pears have been dropping from the tree all day. Tomorrow I'll pick another basket full and make either pear bread or a pear crisp.
