Awwww sheesh, that just reminded me that I put laundry in the washing machine Saturday afternoon... uggghh, I totally forgot all about it! Looks like I will be washing that load of laundry all over again tonight as well.

Here's a trick, if it hasn't sat in the washer too long ... run just a rinse-and-spin cycle to freshen them up, then toss them in the dryer. (After a few days, though, I'd opt for a complete re-wash!)

Good Morning, MMC~

Hope you're all having a nice morning so far.

It's a typical day of work for me today, and a few errands at lunch.
Harlowe is at the groomer this morning. I am looking forward to Adi sending me a photo of her, knowing that she is back home. She gets so anxious there.

There is definitely a change in the weather, it was a damp & cool morning. Still quite humid but hopefully that breaks soon. 70's for the next few days, and highs only in the 60's on Friday. Back to the upper 80's by Saturday, though.

Thanks, I have been having headaches on & off this week. It probably is allergy related,, as mold is bad here right now. I have the most problems with mold and ragweed.

It is Goldenrod/Ragweed time to be sure. This is where we are torn between hanging on to glorious warm weather, and looking forward to that first hard frost that kills off the sinus irritants.

It is Goldenrod/Ragweed time to be sure. This is where we are torn between hanging on to glorious warm weather, and looking forward to that first hard frost that kills off the sinus irritants.

Exactly!! Just 1 good hard frost to kill everything (but not my flowers or garden) & then back to summer for awhile! Are we asking too much!?

It's the end of an era ... our landline phone service went out Friday, and they just got around to fixing it today. Only it isn't fixed, because we were the last ones on the copper line, and (of course) they won't dig up the street to repair the wiring when only one house's service is out. So no more copper service on our street; we're going to have to switch to fiber-optic. We hung onto the copper as long as we possibly could, on the advice of a good friend of ours---who was a longtime Verizon employee. But the ravages of time have taken their toll at last. Goodbye, faithful old copper!

Oddly enough, our cordless landline phones' screens died a couple days before, so we have a new cordless phone set standing by for when we're back on line.

We no longer have a land line either. We still have our old land line # but the service is through Verizon Wireless! It is a little sad to see that Era gone!
