Christmas Countdown - 2018

[Holiday]

Good morning MMC ~
It’s going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 80 degrees. It’s been cooling off more at night, we’re supposed to drop in to the 50’s tonight which is nice. I’m going to visit my father soon. I have to run a couple of quick errands afterward. Then I need to work on the laundry, I’m falling behind. I want to help my daughter pack, tomorrow is her move in day. I’m going to cook an early dinner as well to get it over with because I’ll be heading back to the hospital again later this evening. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day.

It was 52 when I got up this morning! Although there were a few days in late June/early July we had 50's in the morning!! But it seems like a sign of fall!! I hope your Dad is doing well & you enjoy your day!

Well looky here, look what I saw yesterday while I was at Lowes. The very first pallets of Christmas items sitting up on the top of the racks. Yup, the boxes are indicating lights for Trim-a-Tree. Oh yea baby, here we go!

I am taking my daughter to her soccer tryouts this morning and then just a typical day of work for me. I took Monday off so I am looking forward to a long weekend.

Well looky here, look what I saw yesterday while I was at Lowes. The very first pallets of Christmas items sitting up on the top of the racks. Yup, the boxes are indicating lights for Trim-a-Tree. Oh yea baby, here we go!

What's the temperature up there around your way this morning? Has the daytime temps up there been lower lately? Is this the time of year (month) that you typically see and feel a shift in your weather pattern where you are at? Here at the office, it's around 65 degrees, off and on showers, feels humid.

There isn't any signs of fall yet around these parts, but I know it's a coming around the corner.

In the mornings, it's been in the 50's for the past week or so. High of 80 degrees today, but upper 80's again for a bit starting Saturday. Still humid most days, and overnights. But these past few days have been great! Highs in the 70's. We are in that weird place where temps are starting to cool down, but still have some hot days ahead of us.

Good morning everyone. Oh yes, it's so nice to be on the downhill side of the work week.

This morning, as I was having my first cup of coffee at home, I looked out my back window and there were 3 young does standing there, munching on the grass and our hibiscus tree leaves. They looked very healthy and beautiful. Watched them for about 10 minutes before they went back into the woods. Yesterday morning when I left the house, there were 2 turkeys just standing there in my neighbors front yard, watching me drive by. I'm totally just loving the wildlife around here. And how about that bear that outside of my office, huh? Now that, was pretty awesome!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I went back to my brother's house to help him move his furniture back in after his new carpet was installed. Boy, he has some heavy furniture! I had to dip in the pool again last night when I got home. LOL

The boss is out of town today, and, I have to say, it's nice to not have a staff meeting this morning. I can knock-out my first few cups of coffee, and get started on the job quicker...AFTER the coffee.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!! This morning is colder than it was yesterday but with no breeze it feels much warmer! I got a load of laundry hung on the line this morning & another one in the washer to hang at lunch. Beautiful day!!

Just work for me today. Lucy was supposed to go to the groomer yesterday but she texted & asked if I would bring her today instead...my hubby is off work, so he is going to take her & I'll pick her up! I need to pick up a few groceries after. And tonight I think is finally a night of NO PLANS!! It's been a busy week, so I'm looking forward to that!

Had a good time last night with my high school friends. Everyone (except our friend in Georgia ) was able to make it. I was home around 10:30 so that's not so bad, but I feel sleepy today!

Sounds like a nice view! I've been watching a couple of "fox squirrels" near my house, trying to get a chance to take a picture. They're so much prettier than a regular gray squirrel.

Good Thursday morning! A day off for me, a beautiful one too with bright sunshine, warm temps and low humidity. David just had a follow-up appointment at the doctor's and now we're off grocery shopping before his physio this afternoon. I have tons of laundry to do, I skipped doing a load this weekend as I usually do and it seems to have piled up. The o chore. Then I want to bake some cupcakes to sell at work to help support the Sunshine Foudation for which we are raising money at the cash registers. For once it's not too hot to bake! Hope everyone enjoys their day!

It is so beautiful outside! Love having my office window open.
When Harlowe and I walked this morning, I caught a trace of wood smoke mixed with the flowers and greenery down by the creek. It smelled amazing.

Adrian is traveling with his Dad for a few days. They are attending a charitable golf tournament for the troops. Hope they have a lot of fun, and nice weather for the events.

Harlowe and I are taking advantage of the cooler weather- more walks and deck time. It's amazing how many more people you see out and about now.
