Merry Friday Friends!
I’m just having a cup of coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I’m having a get together on Labor Day so I have to figure out a menu plan for that as well. Not too much going on here today. I’m just going to stop st the butcher at some point. My youngest is coming over later and we’re going to have lunch together. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a wonderful last day of August. I can not believe how fast this month went by!

The humidity is gone...yay!! Looking forward to the 3 day weekend. My daughter has a soccer jamboree tomorrow and then no real plans. My husband is still not feeling 100% so I think we will lay low for the weekend.

High humidity coupled with very warm temps, pushed our heat index yesterday up close to triple digits. As such, I confined vigorous yard work to the morning and evening.
Today? More of the same, I'm afraid.
We have begun this Weekend Eve at 71 degrees here after an overnight rain.

It was such a nice afternoon yesterday, Nancy and I went for a long walk. I should have spent the afternoon sawing on the broken tree limb in my yard. I bet I won't have another cool evening for a long time. Grrr. That limb.

We will be grilling out and heading over to our friends for a campfire party.
It’s sipposed to rain and storm everyday with the exception of tomorrow, for the next week. So we’ll see!
Sunday we are heading to La Crosse to help my sister.
