Good Morning, Folks.
Still watching and waiting but things are looking slowly better as the hurricane weakens a bit and is still predicted to turn toward the west and southwest.
Central NC is not supposed to get sustained tropical storm force winds so perhaps we will not loose power.

But enough of that.
On with the count:
Days to the Season: 61
Days to Christmas Day: 103

And with only THREE days left until the 100-DAY CHRISTMAS DAY Window, we find ourselves LESS than half a week away from our next Milestone marker!

We had a calm, sunny day yesterday. The kind that can lull one into a false sense of security.
The winds should start picking up by late today, and Friday/Saturday should be gusty with copious amounts of rain.
Currently, it is calm but rather cloudy, with a temperature reading of 74 degrees here in the capital city.

I hope everyone is having a great night. I had an eventful afternoon. When I picked up Carolina from my cousins house today, she slipped on the bottom of her wet sneakers and hit her head. We took her to the ER just to he safe and she ended up with 2 staples in the back of her head. My cousin Evie went with me since Mike was at work. Surprisingly I was calm the entire time. We have to take her in a week to get the staples removed.

Poor Carolina!! Hope she is ok..so scary when accidents happen!

Happy Friday Eve!
It absolutely poured and stormed all day yesterday.
Today should be drier and hopefully we will see a little sun.
Typical work day for me and tonight I have my oldest daughter's open house at school. She has an away game for soccer and my youngest has softball practice so it will be pizza for dinner!
Continued prayers for all in the path of Florence.

Good morning MMC! TGIFE!!! This seems like a long week & I was off Monday!! What the heck?! LOL! I have to work a full week, next week. It's been awhile. Might be grueling! Ha ha!!

Not much up for today besides work. Lucy goes to the groomer today ~ I brought her yesterday only to find out she was closed. That hubby of mine forgot to tell me Lucy's appointment was moved to Thursday this week. Whoops!! Good thing she's only a few miles away!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! Well the heat is back with a high in the 80’s. So it looks like the air conditioner will be by my best friend again. Nothing to exciting happening here. I need to run a few errands and do some cleaning. I might go looking for some Christmas stuff too. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

I keep watching updates on the hurricane, and I am just in awe of the pictures from space they keep showing. Please anyone close to where this thing makes landfall stay safe.

Morning MMC. Watching the weather channel here and hoping for the best for anyone in the path of the approaching hurricane. These things seem more scary by the year. Other than that, just another day at work. A friend sent me pics yesterday of them putting up their Halloween decorations. It's pretty exciting to see that. Haven't seen any out quite yet here. prayers going out for all in the path of this storm. My niece lives near Charlotte NC, she is not worried yet .
Off to work in a bit, going to be a long day.
Tomorrow, my daughter and her maid of honor (LittleCS) and I are going wedding gown shopping.
I have to find a dress too as I have been informed that I will be walking the bride down the isle.

Have fun dress shopping Star! I need a mother of the bride dress as well. I’m cutting it close as far as ordering one goes, I might end up having to buy off the rack.

My sisters have bought some beautiful mothers dresses "Off the rack" - I don't think any of them were pre-ordered. A little altering & all is good!! I'm sure you will find a beautiful dress!! Good luck!
And actually my SIL had 4 mother of the bride/groom weddings in 13 months & sold all her dresses on FB after the weddings!

Merry Thursday MMC ~
We’re expecting showers today with a high of 75 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and watching the news. Prayers are going up for everyone in the path of the hurricane. I don’t have too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I’m going to stop by my parents house while I’m out to visit them. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good Thursday morning! It's nice and cool right now with the windows open in the appartment, but temperatures and humidity will be on the rise for the next few days. I have four days left to my vacation and to be honest, I wish I had more time off and don't really feel like going back to work on Monday. I think the fact that David wasn't on vacation made this time off less enjoyable. I have to do some laundry today and hope to do some de-cluttering in a closet or two. And I want to watch a couple more episodes of Legion season 2 and maybe watch a movie tonight. Hope everyone will have a great day!
