Good morning MMC! TGIFE!!! This seems like a long week & I was off Monday!! What the heck?! LOL! I have to work a full week, next week. It's been awhile. Might be grueling! Ha ha!!

Not much up for today besides work. Lucy goes to the groomer today ~ I brought her yesterday only to find out she was closed. That hubby of mine forgot to tell me Lucy's appointment was moved to Thursday this week. Whoops!! Good thing she's only a few miles away!!

Enjoyed catching up and reading everyones posts :) ! Hope you don't lose power Crown! Sounds like the beast is weakening yeah!!!
Today has been a busy busy day but finally winding down into the weekend, happy Fridays Eve ya'll! I think I might take the pup to Petsmart today, he loves walking around and looking at all the stuff. I usually end up getting him a new toy, I wonder if their halloween collections are out yet? Last year he got a pumpkin, a ghost, and a mouse.
This hot rainy weather is killing me... i'm so ready for the woods to dry up and get cold so we can hike again! It will be in the mid 90's again today and damp.

Thanks Holiday! Snow dog did pretty good until a crazy hyper golden retriever of all things came in and then he acted like a total chicken LOL! A new toy made it all better. Have a great rest of your day!

Just a quick note Folks, as the storm approaches.
There is a good chance we could loose power here. If I have not posted the count by about 11:00 or so tomorrow morning, it probably means I can't.
An "Emergency Counter" will hopefully be able to step forward to pick up the fumble and keep the count advancing until our power gets restored.

Good Thursday afternoon, Christmas friends!

I just got back from a trade show I had to attend today. We had a tour yesterday morning, then we departed for the show near Atlanta. It wound up being an outdoor event, and I've been standing in the 90°+ heat and humidity all day in my khakis. Yuck!

I have a golf tournament on Monday, and I expected it to be cancelled with all the rain we're expecting from Florence, but no. I have images of Caddyshack in my head. "Rat turds!!"

We took her to the ER just to he safe and she ended up with 2 staples in the back of her head. My cousin Evie went with me since Mike was at work. Surprisingly I was calm the entire time. We have to take her in a week to get the staples removed.

We’re expecting showers today with a high of 75 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and watching the news. Prayers are going up for everyone in the path of the hurricane. I don’t have too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I’m going to stop by my parents house while I’m out to visit them. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good Thursday morning! It's nice and cool right now with the windows open in the appartment, but temperatures and humidity will be on the rise for the next few days. I have four days left to my vacation and to be honest, I wish I had more time off and don't really feel like going back to work on Monday. I think the fact that David wasn't on vacation made this time off less enjoyable. I have to do some laundry today and hope to do some de-cluttering in a closet or two. Thank you everyone! Today she is back to her normal self. She is upset that I cant really wash her hair too much and that I keep telling her to be careful. No one at school noticed, which made her feel at ease. Next week I will have to take her back to the ER to remove the staples as our pediatrician doesnt have the tool needed to remove them. I hope everyone is doing well
