Typical work day for me and tonight I have my oldest daughter's open house at school. She has an away game for soccer and my youngest has softball practice so it will be pizza for dinner!

Good morning MMC! TGIFE!!! This seems like a long week & I was off Monday!! What the heck?! LOL! I have to work a full week, next week. It's been awhile. Might be grueling! Ha ha!!

Not much up for today besides work. Lucy goes to the groomer today ~ I brought her yesterday only to find out she was closed. That hubby of mine forgot to tell me Lucy's appointment was moved to Thursday this week. Whoops!! Good thing she's only a few miles away!!

Today has been a busy busy day but finally winding down into the weekend, happy Fridays Eve ya'll! I think I might take the pup to Petsmart today, he loves walking around and looking at all the stuff. I usually end up getting him a new toy, I wonder if their halloween collections are out yet? Last year he got a pumpkin, a ghost, and a mouse.
This hot rainy weather is killing me... i'm so ready for the woods to dry up and get cold so we can hike again! It will be in the mid 90's again today and damp.

There is a good chance we could loose power here. If I have not posted the count by about 11:00 or so tomorrow morning, it probably means I can't.
An "Emergency Counter" will hopefully be able to step forward to pick up the fumble and keep the count advancing until our power gets restored.

Hope you don't lose power Crown but in case you do I'll keep an eye out to post the count if nobody does before.

And actually my SIL had 4 mother of the bride/groom weddings in 13 months & sold all her dresses on FB after the weddings! ;)

My father is doing better, thank you for asking. Thankfully he responded well to the new medicine dosages, hopefully that continues. We appreciate the prayers Snowflake and I’m sending them back your way! ❤️

TGIF MMC! I hope everything is ok with Crown and those in the area of the hurricane. Was just watching it make landfall. Ironically looks like we may actually see the sun some this weekend (haven't seen it in over a week...). Have a great Friday everyone! Almost Mid-September already!
 
Merry Friday MMC ~
I’m just having my coffee and I’m watching the news. I’m also working on a menu plan and grocery list. Typical day of errands and chores. I’m heading to the butcher and pasta store this morning. I also plan on going to Hobby Lobby and Bed, Bath & Beyond later this afternoon. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. I’m going to straighten up the house and clean the floors as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. We’re grilling steaks for dinner with roasted potatoes and a Caesar salad. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

For me it's been a strange week. I just got home from the funaral of my neighbour and friend Nathalie. And sadly there will soon follow an other one for my uncle.

My thoughts and prayers are with Crown and everyone else, who is and will be effected, by Hurricane Florence and of it's soon to be tropical components of that storm, that will eventually head North/ North East.

Good Morning and Happy Friday everyone.

Friday once more, Thank you Lord! For some reason, this week, sure did feel like an extremely long and grueling work week. Part of it is that it's been raining here practically every single day. Come to think about it, I do not believe the sun has been out here in Connecticut all week. I'm looking forward this weekend, to just sleeping in a bit and not having to be on any schedule.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

We went to the first night of The Addams Family Musical last night, and it was great! Elizabeth's part on stage was in the background, as a ghostly ancestor that dances and sings with the other ancestors. She was also the choreographer for the production, and all of the dances were, in my unbiased opinion, brilliant! :D There were waltzes, a tango, tap dance scenes...it was great! We're going back tonight and tomorrow night.

Lunch with Mama today.

I hope 'all have a great, safe day! :D
