Our last 70 degree day was yesterday. Our highs for the next 7 days are in the 50's (below average)!! But that's Wisco for you!

We're still in the low 90's every day for the foreseeable future. As you say, that's south Georgia for you!

Thank you both! I wish we had a neighbor dog to walk with, I’m on a small cross street and Rocky is the only pup on the block. I’ll keep trying with the treats. He’s still young, I’m hoping he’ll learn to eventually love it. Molly was like Jazzie, she noticed if a car was out of place! And when people decorated for the holidays she would hesitate, especially walking past those outdoor inflatables! But she always kept going. Funny how observant some of them are!

Gracie would always bark her head off when someone had a trash can out by the road for trash pick up! LOL! "That wasn't there yesterday!"

The Bucks looked amazing Saturday! I swear they keep getting better and better! I hope Bosa is better soon too, he really makes a difference on the team!

It's a cool & dreary day here, too, but so far just sprinkles. I'm using Palmer's fuzzy blanket for a lapghan and it is nice and cozy in here right now. Trying to hold off until October before starting the furnace this year.
I'm glad you had a nice weekend! The previews of "Book Club" were funny ~ loved the part with Candice Bergen. I have to add that movie to my To-Watch list.

I didn't start the furnace at the lake this weekend, but I did turn on the Eden Pure in the mornings.

Hi folks. Got back from the camping trip late Saturday. We had a great time. Saw some of wildlife; 4 bears, 2 wild hogs, turkeys. Bears seem to be especially active. Caught lots of trout. Can't get fresher than catch during the day and eat for dinner. Bible study great. We studied and discussed various scriptures on the awesomeness of God.

Happy Rudolph Day #9 MMC! We're moving closer towards October and the big 3 holiday months. A rainy day here expected as it's already begun with some light rain. Got a chill out there. Makes me think of October. And that makes me happy. Have a great Tuesday!

Good morning and Happy Rudolph’s Day. It was a tad chilly in the house this morning, so for the first time, I turned the furnace on to warm it up. This is the first home I’ve owned that has baseboard hot water heat. So I’ll see how it does.

It’s going to be raining here all day and possibly into tomorrow. When I got home yesterday evening, I pulled out a couple of tarps from the shed and I covered up my wood piles to keep everything dry so as it will be good to go for when I will need it this winter.

Well, my morning coffee is a calling me.

Stay warm. Hope the baseboard heat works well for you! It was a little chilly outside this morning but this afternoon is muggy & rainy!

Good Tuesday morning! Rain is moving in for the next couple of days. So Fall goes. Right now the three of us are curled up on the couch under blankets, it's nice and cozy. The surgeon David saw yesterday has put him on a waiting list for arthroscopic surgery. The surgeon considers 2/3 of a tendon torn to be a small tear but after some tests he determined he needed surgery. He has another appointment on October 22nd. I'll go with him this time because I have a ton of questions for the surgeon. I'll keep hoping that his shoulder will continue to improve and he won't need surgery. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift and have a few things to get at the grocery store but for now I just want to stay under the blankets with Loki sleeping in between us. Enjoy your day everyone!

Coolish yesterday, with rain threatening all day but none actually falling.
Today is supposed to be quite a bit warmer (mid 80's) with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
This day-before-Pines Day has commenced at 70 degrees, here.

Today the high is supposed to be 78. It is supposed to rain most of the day and get humid. Carolinas field trip has been postponed until Thursday because of the rain. Today will be a normal school day for her.
While she is at school I will probably go to Target or Walmart and do some birthday shopping for Carolina. After she gets done school we will go to the library and return books we checked out 2 weeks ago and get some new books.

Merry Milestone Day!!!
It’s pouring out right now. I wanted to do some food shopping but I’m not sure if I want to venture out. I’ll see if it lets up after I finish my cup of coffee. I’m going to visit my youngest later this afternoon, I picked her up a few things for the apartment and I want to drop everything off. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. Season premiere of This is Us is on tonight, can’t wait. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Cold and rainy here today after a beautiful fall day yesterday. You'll never here me complain about a rainy day if the temperature stays below 15c (59f)!

The heat came up this morning---it was about 49F outside. But it's supposed to go up to 80 tomorrow. Ugh.

And happily, the bright outdoor lights next door went out by 10 p.m. last night, hooray! We left a phone message, and it looks like they got it. Slept better last night!
