We had a great Rudolph day at our house. Carolina did her homework as soon as she got home from school and then after dinner we took a walk to see if friends were home to play. No one was home so we played a game of Sorry with my parents. Carolina won which was so exciting for her.
Mike texted me while he was on his break at work that a Netflix show we binge watched a couple years ago has ago season coming out on the 19th of October. We are looking forward to it coming out.
Carolina is in bed so I am relaxing and reading

Well a day that started at 5am and saw me driven nearly crazy by road construction and heavy storms by 8am ended on a high note followed by rain so heavy I couldn’t see as I turned into the hotel for the night. Kinda fitting it ended the same way it started I guess. Hitting the road early tomorrow morning for Amish country in northern Indiana then back home.

Bronner’s is overwhelming for a Christmas addict. There is so much to look at. You could spend days checking out all the ornaments. It’s beautiful to drive around at night too with all the light displays. (Watch the blossoms thread for plenty of pictures)


@Meceka wish I could have set up a meeting with you. I wasn’t sure we were coming though. Heck, I almost turned around three times this morning it was storming so bad. Hopefully next time I’ll be up here more than 20 hours.

Yes, the Steven Avery documentary. We watched the first part over the course of a weekend and Mike is hoping we can do that again.

Good Pines Day MMC! We had a ton of rain yesterday (like 4 inches) and now everything is trying to dry out. It's actually mild, even warm this morning and feels like summer. But it won't last long as the temps drop by 10 degrees tomorrow and a nice weekend ahead is predicted with high 60s and mostly sunny. Have a great day!
