Primitive George of 'The Primitive Show' heard on WVKR 91.3 in Poughkeepsie, New York and online announced on his show today that his annual Halloween Spook-takula show will be on the air October 27, 2017.

Times are Eastern. From the webpage:

♣ Listen to THE PRIMITIVE SHOW–“garage rock from the 60s to the new millennium”–every FRIDAY from 12-3 on WVKR, 91.3fm and wvkr.org!! ♣

Primitive George eluded to his upcoming Primitive Show Halloween Special during last Friday's show. Though no exact date was mentioned, the show will probably air October 26, 2018 from 12 noon to 3pm Eastern.

I found a compilation albums in that site and both of them will spook you with cringe because of soundalike covers. The artists from "Ultimate Halloween Party Favorites" who sang this is: *sighs* I hate to say it. The Hit Crew. more like the "So Cringey They Want Your Money" crew.

take a listen to that album... *sigh* And it's also on Spotify...

Gangnam Style (WHY WHY WHY THE HIT CREW RUINS A GOOD KPOP SONG~~~? )

Call Me Maybe:

December 1963 (Oh What A Night):

Are there any radio stations that broadcast Halloween music in the Hudson valley Newburgh Poughkeepsie area over the radio not just online?

Three to four show hosts on WVKR 91.3 FM in Poughkeepsie usually do Halloween shows. Primitive George of the “Primitive Show” heard from noon to three Fridays mentioned Halloween coming up. I expect it to be October 26.

Pete Clark’s ‘Orphanage of Rock & Roll’ follows George for another three hours. Quite likely a Halloween show from him too.

If I lived anywhere within WVKR’s terrestrial range, that’s the only station I would bother to tune in via a real radio!
