Merry Sunday MMC!
My daughters bridal shower was yesterday and it was beautiful! The wedding will be here before I know it, can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle. So exciting!
I don’t have too much planned for today, I’m still exhausted from yesterday. I’m just going to catch up with the laundry, I didn’t get to do any yesterday. I’m also going to make baked ziti for dinner. That’s about it.
I hope everyone is well and enjoys the rest of the weekend!

Good Sunday late afternoon! I hope everyone has been enjoying a great weekend. It’s gotten quite cool here, the winds have been downright cold and trees are losing their leaves quickly. After doing our usual grocery shopping this morning, I went to get most of what I need for my Halloween costume: blue leopard-print leggings, a Def Leppard t-shirt and an acid-wash jean shirt without sleeves. Yep, I’m going for all things 80s. All I’m missing are the accessories: a headband, bright scrunchie, colourful neon bracelets and the like.

Since Halloween is right around the corner, David decided to start watching some horror fare, starting with the Netflix series The House on Haunted Hill. I am half-watching because it’s a great cast but not fully watching because I get scared too easily and it’s not good for my mental health. Now he’s taking a break to make his great spaghetti sauce for supper, so I’ll watch some Great British Bake Off for something light and fun.

Oh and I pre-ordered Pentatonix’ new Christmas album coming out this week. Can’t wait for new Christmas music!

Glad to hear the shower was a success. I have one daughter and it was such a incredibly beautiful thing for me to walk her down the aisle surrounded by people who were and still are special to us. I will take that moment with me into the afterlife. Live in the moment in the coming days ahead. It’s going to be beautiful.

This past Friday, we had our first frost of the season, a pretty good one too! Flowers are toast, shrubs, bushes and trees will be shedding their leaves like it’s raining. Tonight here, it’s already really cold out and they are predicting for the temperature to be below freezing
Tomorrow morning.

I gotta get the rest of my firewood ranked up and covered for the winter now, you just never really know when the first snows will be coming. This year, the Hagerstown Almanac is indicating that it’s possible that in the last week in October/ first week in November we may get some. That would be a pretty sight!

Wow, so soon already! Golly, the time is really flying by now.

I guess, what, there will be a couple of days off in November prior, for Election Day and Veterans Day, then it will be Thanksgiving.

Morning MMC! The Halloween Trail was more fun this year than last year. It was extra scary and the cold weather really set the mood (although it felt more like Christmas time than Halloween time). It was a lot of fun though and I hope to go next year for a 3rd year in a row. And today I just have a Monday at work. Other than that, hoping you all enjoy the start to this final week before Halloween Week!
