I plan on checking out a few o the stores after work today. I think most places have their Christmas stuff out. I hope to find a few deals.

I love going to the stores to check out their Christmas displays but I’ll wait a couple more weeks because stores here are just now starting to set up. Enjoy your Christmas hunt for deals.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

We worked on Elizabeth's play props until 8pm last night, and I was up at daylight working on tonight's Haunted House at the school, headed-up by, guess who...Elizabeth. LOL That girl loves to volunteer. And I can't say no to those "Pleasssssee, Daddy?" requests for help. Oh well.

I was excited to buy my cards for the Card Exchange yesterday! I did sign up, even though I didn't get a ribbon under my name LOL. I was late signing up, and I know Jeff is starting to get slammed with work this time of year. I don't know how he keeps up with the demand on his time!

Just realized Crown's post today didn't seem to go through (at least his countdown) so just in case not to cause any bad karma here are the numbers.

Days to Halloween: 6 (ONE WEEK from YESTERDAY!!)
Days to the Season: 19 (The TEENS!)
Days to Christmas Day: 61 (I can't fathom it but 2 months from today!)

Condolences again to Crown on the passing of his cousin. Looking forward to the 2 volunteers filling in the next 3 days. Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day #10! Rollins is glad to be Coneless and he got 6 new toys for going through a few tough days (what a spoiled dog). The new person started yesterday and she seems nice. Always can tell how they are nervous their first day so we tried to joke around with her and finally got her to laugh some and feel more comfortable. Have a fantastic Thursday!

Merry Thursday!
It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 52 degrees. I just straightened up the house, started laundry, and did a quick cleaning of the wood floors. Just having my coffee right now and a bite to eat. I’m going to take Rocky for a walk soon. I have to make a Target run later this morning. I just realized I haven’t bought any Halloween candy yet, I have to grab a few bags today! Back home afterward to work on some other chores around the house. Dinner will be minestrone soup with mini raviolis. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Have fun at Target!!!! I haven't decided if I'm going to stay on Halloween or go out to my aunts. We never get anyone here and I miss seeing all the kids dressed up!

We seem to get less and less trick or treaters each year, it’s sad!

What a shame the museum closed ~ I would have liked to have visited at least once.

I have no idea ... I would assume that if they had debts, they sold their items. I hope so, because that would mean that collectors who would love the items got them. I really, really hope none of them ended up in a Dumpster.

That would have been horrible, but I don't imagine collectors would have let the items lay around for long!

Beautiful day in Chicago! Leaves changing quickly, great time of year here. Homemade Pizza and going to watch Vice Versa, part of the movie was filmed in my neighbors house next door! It was so cool when they were on the block for a few weeks, got to meet Fred Savage and Judge Reinhold among others. Cheers!
