Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!
Elizabeth's One-Act Play won the region competition with The Music Man! Those kids did a great job!! Now we going to state finals on November 15. I'm so proud of Elizabeth and all her friends!
Nancy's mom came home from the hospital yesterday, and she's feeling much better. Thanks for all the prayers!
We're getting ready for church. I hope y'all have a great Sunday!
I glad your mil is doing better and is out of the hospital. Congratulations to Elizabeth for hard work and going state finals, wow, that is wonderful. Great job!
The clock is moving really fast now that we are in November!
Evening all! I spent the entire day outside today. I was chopping up and blowing leaves back into the woods 90% of the day. I went thru 2 tanks full of gas too! Got it done and the wife came out and said I did a wonderful job (that always puts a swagger into my walk!)
I was also reclaiming areas where the brush and trees had taken over. I bet you in spots, I reclaimed about 25 feet deep back into the woods.
I want to push the woods line back some, it’s a little too close to the house for my comfort for many reasons; ticks, fire and if a tree comes over, I don’t want it to hit the house. Oh I’ll probably will be working on it for years, but I like it doing it.
Now, since I’m all showered up, I’m trying to talk Jill into going out for Pizza!

I just saw the first house with Christmas lights on their two pine trees out front! And yesterday I heard my first Christmas ad on the radio (Indigo Chapters bookstore). And there are more and more Christmas signs in stores. Finally!
Good evening, friends! DS’s first communion class went well . It was a retreat to start getting them ready for this spring. DH and I are busy cleaning and decorating, listening to Christmas music (Hallmark Radio on Sirius) and playing HMM in the background. We made homemade pizza for dinner and are having a great evening! Hope you all are too!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. We will be leaving the shore around 930 to head home which will put us at an 11 pm arival time at home. As soon as we get home I will unpack so that I don't have to worry about it tomorrow. I work in the morning so I will want to find everything I need quickly.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Already have a full amount of work to do on my list at work and I haven't even started the week yet. Should be very busy. We have some rain coming in today. Looking ahead to the weekend (already) looks sunny but CHILLY with highs only in the middle 40s. Going to really feel like the holiday season is coming then. Have a great day!

It’s going to be cloudy today with periods of rain, highs near 55 degrees. I didn’t sleep well last night but I’m feeling better overall. Just a little cough left from this cold, hopefully it doesn’t linger too long. I don’t have a lot going on today, I’m just going to make a Target run at some point. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. I’m also going to make a big pot of minestrone soup with tortellini and cheesy garlic bread for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

And most assuredly, this is the start of the LAST full week before the Season begins!
The latest figures are just begging to be looked at:
Days to the Season: 8 (ONE WEEK from TOMORROW!!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 17 (Now UNDER 2 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 50 (Seven weeks from tomorrow!)
Just imagine. Ony a day over ONE week to wait!
And it's even a shorter wait for the start of our Special Post Series, set to commence in just THREE days.
(What fun we will have starting this Thursday!)
Noticeably cooler yesterday, but it was dry with a vivid blue sky and plenty of sun.
Today shows a predicted high of 70 and it should be a wet one after an overnight rain that has continued into the morning.
Our present temperature is 56 overcast and very damp degrees here in our little sector of the great MMC Nation.

Merry Monday...back to the grind!! Looks like we will have a cloudy day and maybe some rain. I woke up at 4:30am and could not go back to sleep....I will need some extra coffee today for sure! Just work for me today and hope you all have a good day!
Good morning, MMC friends and Merry Monday! Not much on the agenda for today. We got a lot of the decorating done here last night, so my plan for today, is to finish that up and get the bedrooms cleaned. I just have to do some finishing touches to the decorations and then after DH gets home from work tonight, we plan on trying to do the tree and put all my Christmas snow globes out. That should complete it all (except for the outside), which we’ll wait to do for another few weeks yet. I’ll post some pictures soon!
As for the other part of my day, I have my niece. She’ll be one next month, so she’s on the move and needing to keep busy. The next few months to come should be interesting with her and a new puppy!
