Christmas Countdown - 2018

Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be cloudy today with periods of rain, highs near 55 degrees. I didn’t sleep well last night but I’m feeling better overall. Just a little cough left from this cold, hopefully it doesn’t linger too long. I don’t have a lot going on today, I’m just going to make a Target run at some point. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. I’m also going to make a big pot of minestrone soup with tortellini and cheesy garlic bread for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Good Morning, Last Full Weekers!

And most assuredly, this is the start of the LAST full week before the Season begins!

The latest figures are just begging to be looked at:
Days to the Season: 8 (ONE WEEK from TOMORROW!!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 17 (Now UNDER 2 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 50 (Seven weeks from tomorrow!)
Just imagine. Ony a day over ONE week to wait!

And it's even a shorter wait for the start of our Special Post Series, set to commence in just THREE days.
(What fun we will have starting this Thursday!)

Noticeably cooler yesterday, but it was dry with a vivid blue sky and plenty of sun.
Today shows a predicted high of 70 and it should be a wet one after an overnight rain that has continued into the morning.
Our present temperature is 56 overcast and very damp degrees here in our little sector of the great MMC Nation.

Merry Monday!

The electricity went out here yesterday at around 2:30 in the afternoon and it didn't come back on until a few minutes after midnight, right when I was falling asleep. A long, restless night, so it looks like a lot of coffee for me today.

Working on store projects and loading the truck up with items for the displays I'm doing tomorrow ~ smalls and books and Christmas!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It looks like I wasn’t the only one that got a terrible night of sleep. I’ve been up since 5am but hey, I’ve got all my laundry done already. Today is the only day mom doesn’t have some kind of appointment this week. So I’m going to try and get some more decorating done. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

. I woke up at 4:30am and could not go back to sleep....I will need some extra coffee today for sure! Just work for me today and hope you all have a good day!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It looks like I wasn’t the only one that got a terrible night of sleep. I’ve been up since 5am but hey, I’ve got all my laundry done already.

Sheeeesh, what was it with last night? I tossed and turned all night last night and then I was up before the alarm clock! I've had 2 cups of coffee and I still feel the morning drag, like I got invisible weights strapped to my behind; I just can't get moving today at all!
I so bad wanted to just pick up the phone this morning and call out of work, but, I didn't. I left for work like a good responsible employee, only to get stuck in a traffic jamb (because of a 3 car traffic accident) and I was super late for work; figures!

Not much up for the day besides working both places. No major plans for tonight except Hallmark Christmas! Oh, and grocery shopping for mom after work. My bro/sil made it back home to the Cape safe 'n sound. Always a worry! Thankfully he'll be coming home again in a couple weeks to bring one of his plane's home to store at my hubby's family farm. Always fun to have him around! Looking forward to them being home owners in the area!

What a super-lousy day it has been ... so many things going wrong. Very glad to be home with Mr. with pizza on the table shortly. Friday night pizza should cure a raft of ills.

Good evening, MMC! We just finally got home from shopping. I spent a little more money than I planned for today, but I got a lot of the Christmas shopping done, got a few more decorations, and got all of our new ornaments. I’m just laying in bed now with a glass of wine and the dog, watching Hallmark.

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day! We get to go meet our new puppy. We’ll be bringing here home next weekend. I’m over the moon excited!

Morning all, just flicking through the tv channels and here in the uk sky cinema drama is showing Christmas movies all day! Home alone 2 is on as I type with the Santa clause up next......I have a feeling my housework may not get completed today!
