Happy 2nd Sunday of the year MMC! A cold one here again but no snow. The cold kept the snow south of us. Lucky for us. Although, it has been weird that the last time we had significant snow was the week before Thanksgiving! It started early but then such a long time without any snow this late autumn/early winter. Going to my Uncle's for dinner as we do once every month. 1st one of 12 and it's funny how little things like that make you realize how fast time goes as it seems we were just there in December. Have a great day!

Good Morning, Guys!

Part two of 2019 weekend two.
The year is advancing relentlessly.
And of course, the count is as well.

Our numbers for the day:
Days to the Season: 304
Days to Christmas Day: 346
And can we really be down to barely over HALF A WEEK to the 300-day mark in our Season count?
So far so soon!

Cold and wet, but not icy.
That's the succinct summary of our current weather situation.
We are shown at a 100 percent chance of rain today, but JUST rain.
This second half of our NFL playoff weekend has begun here in the capital city at 35 degrees, with a light rain falling.

Have a Super Sunday, Folks.
And best of luck to the four pro teams playing this afternoon!

Good morning all.

Well, the snow has come to an end, but it is beautiful. There is already another storm brewing for next weekend, that if the path is right and the set-up stays what it is now, will be larger than this snow!

Sorry for my excitement about the snow, but we rarely get more than a couple inches at any one time. We average about 22 inches through all of winter and normally it is just a bunch a little snows. So, when we get more than 3-4 inches it is really exciting!

Back in 2004ish we got 22 inches in one day! Just before Christmas. That was amazing.

Well, I have lots to do today... shovel snow, grade papers, lesson plan. Everyone have a wonderful Sunday!

Morning ... Currently snowing here and it looks so pretty. Got homemade cinnamon rolls rising and a full pot of coffee ready. Going to try a new bread recipe today along with making a pot of chicken noodle soup and a pot of chicken corn chowder soup for dinner. Have a great day

Hey, friends! Hope all is well where you are!

We missed the snowstorm by about 60 miles. Just north of us got several inches. Kinda glad, kinda not...would have loved to play in the snow with the girls this weekend, but I'm sure we will get a little snow in the next month or so.

Not much going today...just a little playoff football, cleaning house, and getting ready for the week. Look forward to getting all caught up here with you guys!

Have a great day!

Happy Sunday! We had a great time with my cousin and her family last night. Bowling was fun and then we went to 99 for dinner.
Not too much planned today..my daughter has a softball clinic later.
They are saying we could get a big snowstorm next weekend but who knows...still a week away! Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, MMC!! It’s a winter wonderland here today. We have a little over 7 inches with one more burst to go later this morning. I kept the sidewalk cleaned off yesterday. Today will be spent digging out my car though. I hope everyone has a great day!!

I'm sitting here jealous of all the snow.

Busy day at work, day off tomorrow

I miss Christmas :(

Good night, everyone

I think we got 4 inches or so here. Not too much - just enough to make a mess for a little while. It was the real deal stuff. I miss Christmas too. I think what truly helps me around the house, is have a lot of snowmen and winter decorations, so I leave them up until I decorate for spring. I hope you enjoy your day off!

Merry Sunday MMC!
Not too much going on here this morning, I’m just having my coffee and I’m working on the laundry. My daughter and her husband are flying home from Aruba today. I missed them, I can’t wait to see them and catch up. I’m going to make lasagna for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx

Happy Saturday everyone!

Well the snow is falling here in Troy, Ohio. It is a beautiful snow too. He have about 3 inches so far and the snow is suppose to continue all day and into the night. We are forecast to pick up a total of 4-6 inches. I do not think that will be a problem. Too bad this isn't a school day. :p

It was beautiful yesterday!!! It's pretty to look outside today, but I do miss watching the snow coming down!! Have you seen the forecast for next weekend???
:jump:march::snowball:snowhappy:shiver

Good morning MMC!! Merry Sunday!! Not much going on here today. Jim is at the farm, clearing the drive. He's got everything here opened up - as well as a path through our back yard so we can go back & forth to the neighbors. LOL! (goof ball!) It's beautiful to look outside, but I sure wish it was still snowing!! Ah well - next weekend they are predicting 3-5" Saturday, & another 5-8" Saturday night & another inch on Sunday. I'm sure that will change 10+ times before then, but it's fun to see in the forecast!!! We'll see!!! xx

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!!

Happy Saturday!

I got knocked flat by a cold on Thursday and haven't been up to much of anything since then. I'm just getting caught up with emails and the forum today, plus some other business that I put aside. Yesterday I was a useless lump of cold germs, but I think I'm turning the corner today.

So many folks here with illnesses and depression and anxiety ... I don't always say so, but you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I hope things improve for everyone soon.

We're outside the path of the snowstorm, so it's cold and sunny today here. I'll be relaxing and trying to get this cold to go away.
Oh no! I hope you are feeling better today!!! xx

Good afternoon, everyone! The snow is on it's way here as way. We're predicted to get about 4 inches as well. We had plans for this evening, but have canceled. I don't want my parents to be on the roads and I really don't want to be either.

We're headed out shortly here to look at two new vehicles. Up until about 10 pm last night, I didn't even know that was in our cards for another for years. DH has been doing some major money crunching the last couple of months, which I have talked about over the last couple of days with our cable, plus with our insurance (car, house, life, etc) - just with our cable/internet and our insurance bills we are saving over $200 a month. Plus, we are looking at other stuff that we truly barely ever use like Sirius Radio, because with our cars having bluetooth, the phone connects automatically to the car when it starts and connects the music, stuff like that. Anyway, our BIL is a car salesman and DH has been wanting a truck. I guess they have been talking (news to me) and he can lease him a truck for 3 years, get a 2019, with a lower payment than the 2015 GMC Terrain that he has now, which is SUV. Then, I have 2016 Honda Pilot, which we just bought a year, but overpaid for it and took out a bigger loan than we wanted to, but REALLY wanted the car and really thought we needed a 3rd row vehicle because the kids were getting bigger again and knew we wanted to get a another dog again. Turns out, we don't and we want to get this car paid off and get out of this loan. Acura, which is also made by Honda, just the higher end, has the smaller size of this vehicle, has half the miles of my car, but the same year, which I am okay with and we'll get a smaller year loan and probably pay better or just a little more, which I am okay with too for mine. It's a total win, win and I am game. My vehicle is a different place than where my BIL works, so it sounds like we're going to get mine total, since mine is pre-owened, so it doesn't get sold, then go get DH on Monday, but again, I totally wasn't expecting to be doing any of this today, but again, anything to save money!

Hope you're all having a great day and stay safe if you're being affected by the weather!
Good luck with your new vehicle purchases!!!

Snow like that is relaxing to watch ~ enjoy. Palmer will sit on the window sill and track one snowflake until it drops and then track another one. She can do that for hours!
Thank you! :)
xx
It is relaxing to watch! Magical!
Oh Palmer ~ how adorable!! ♥ Lucy comes in looking like the abominable snowman!!! :D :p
Merry Sunday!!

Good Saturday afternoon! It was -28°C/-18°F with the wind this morning when I walked Loki but I dressed warm enough and with the sun out, it was a pleasant walk, though not a long one. We got all the grocery shopping done this morning, so other than laundry and a few chores, we have the rest of the weekend to just relax and stay warm inside. Or I should say trying to stay warm inside. David's next to me comfortable in a short sleeve t-shirt and here I am with my long sleeve t-shirt, a cardigan and two blankets over me and I still feel cold. Story of my life. Hope everyone is enjoying their day.
Sounds like you need to get yourself some pajama grams!!! Sooooooo warm & cozy!!! I sometimes have to take the sweatshirt off & put on a regular sweat shirt b/c I get too warm!! Hope you are staying warm today!!! Have a great day!
