Vegetable pasta done - enough for a few lunches for me to bring to work and for my husband to warm up when I'm not here.

Tonight we're having French Grilled Cheese and Zucchini Fries for dinner.

I had a dream about my mom last night. It was good to see her and hear her; she was about 12 years younger than she was when she passed away.

It was an odd dream, we were trying to catch a flight at an airport. My dad and brother were both far ahead (other brother wasn't in the dream). I only saw the back of my brother never his face and only heard his voice once call out, "Hurry! Hurry, we'll be late!" My mom was behind me and I kept slowing down for her, but she was window shopping along the way. I was filling up a huge bowl with a variety of ice cream from a selection to my left and on the right was a bunch of antiques and thrift store stuff. As we were catching up to my impatient father and brother, I heard the Louis Prima song Pennies From Heaven playing over the speakers.
I woke up when I was trying to put a pair of sunglasses back that I stole from the flea market 'cause the sun from the skylight was giving me a migraine; the blinding light woke me up.

I have unusual dreams most of the time and in full colour and I can even smells and hear things and now and then taste food.

Lots of songs from our old 8-tracks are roaming through my mind now.

Keep a merry thought in your head and may all your dreams and memories, be pleasant in their nature.

Your dinner sounds amazing - hope you enjoy! As far as your dream last night, sounds so nice. I am sure it was so nice to see your mom and reflect. (((hugs))) Auntie.

Howdy all,

Just saw the newest Grinch movie at a theater here in town... take that people who say “the season is over”! Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I hope you enjoyed! That was something I wanted to do with the kids and just never got around to it. I'm sure it will come out on Netflix. It seems anymore, mostly all the new kids/family movies are coming out on Netflix, which I love. I used to buy the kids several new Blu-ray or DVD movies every Christmas, but anymore, especially since they have iPads and we have Netflix, it is a burning out business.

We really did enjoy it. It’s a theater in the village here that shows “second run” movies... basically stuff that’s recently out of other theaters... an adult ticket is $5. Cant beat it! I hear you on the DVD’s we buy all of ours digitally now and days, that way the kids can watch them on their devices.

That's so nice they do that! We have AMC theater's here now - when they were Carmike, they did that, but when AMC took over, they did that for a short while, but are basically showing the same movies and the tickets really aren't any cheaper. I was disappointed when they did away with that. We look forward to the summer weather with the drive-in.

Hello MMC friends...Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend....Its late here and i am so wide awake...My sleeping pattern has been all over the place the past few months.. Watching Miracle on 34th street right now...Goodnite everyone:)

A very merry Sunday night to you too! I was thinking about throwing that on tonight also!

Yeah, it’s really awesome. It’s a one theater place. We have the multiplex down the road. But there’s something about this little, historical theater that I love. It’s family owned and I like to sit in the balcony... I guess I’m old fashioned. Lol.

I am hoping we don't get the snow they are calling for his coming weekend. We have plans to finally see Mikes grandparents for Christmas at the shore. If Mike is able to get off on Friday we will be going down to Cape May to see his cousin graduate from his Coast Guard training.

We watched lots of football too. My dad was so upset about the Eagles/Saints game. He said maybe next year the Eagles will do good. His Superbowl prediction is the Saints vs the Patriots. My mom's cousin told me the other day that years ago the Patriots used to be called the Patsies because they were so terrible

Nite, Prancer. Hope you are able to get caught up on your sleep!

Nah - I would love that and I think my kids would that too. That's special being able to do those kinds of things.

Thanks! Travel wasn't too bad this morning. The only trouble was getting out of the neighborhood since I was the first person to leave it this morning. No customers came in for the first hour either so I actually didn't mind the snow

Good to hear!

I'm praying for you guys sake that we don't either - it's going to be a huge model they will be watching for sure.

Good to see you; stay jolly!

Good evening, everyone! Caught up here. DH and I are just sitting down relaxing, watching a movie. Well, as far as the car shopping went, it sort of took a twisted turn, but a positive one, one that I am bummed I didn't come up with the idea, but glad that our money savvy friend did!

Since I lost my license for 6 months (due to having the seizures and I am unable to drive) and since we talked about possibly being in the market for 2 new or newer vehicles in the next 6 months or so, we've decided to trade both of our vehicles in, get my vehicle now, then get his this summer, due to the fact it will be a lease vehicle (we don't want to rack on miles on that, so it will be the only one we can drive) and then go over on the mileage. Anyway, we are going to trade both in, just buy one now - so we'll only have one car payment and car insurance payment for 5-6 months then, which makes 100% sense and we'll save over $3,000 on top of the other bills we've already saved on and we're going to sit down tomorrow and look at some things. We're on a roll and I'm super excited lol!

Anyway, I hope you've all had a great day! I like a lot of you, am reading about the potential for huge snow this coming weekend. They are taking around 15+ here, but of course, it is way too soon to tell, so we shall see! I hope you all sleep well. We have our niece tomorrow and DD has had a chest cold x 1 week, that honestly, is getting worse, so I think we may keep her home tomorrow, so I can let her rest, hydrate, and if it continues to get worse by middle of week, I may get her in for a chest x-ray, just to make sure she isn't getting pneumonia. She isn't running fever or complaining of shortness of breath, so I don't think we're there.

See you all tomorrow!

I hope DD will get better and you are done dealing with the problems you experienced.

Morning MMC! Mid-January. It's the dead of winter and it has certainly started to settle in. A normal cold week is expected (but no more real mild weather in the forseeable future), followed by the potential for a big storm next weekend and then an even colder week next week. Ahh winter. Anyway, a long week for me but then a 3 day weekend as I am taking off MLK Day. Have a great Monday everyone! Stay warm if it's cold where you are.

Good Morning, MMC Citizens!

And as good citizens, we want to keep abreast of the latest developments as regards our count, Milestone markers, and the proximity of our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
Well, we are here to help with critical data, supplied to you free of charge.
(Of course, what you do with it is up to you.)

Days to the Season: 303
Days to Christmas Day: 345
That's the current count.

As to the next Milestone?
Well, it's the 300-day Season Window, and is now LESS than HALF A WEEK into the future.
(Now, armed with that data, I'm sure you will know just what to do!)

Cold, cloudy and damp all day yesterday. Most dreary, to say the least. The kind of day that can easily trigger Seasonal Affective Disorder!
Fortunately, today is predicted to be sunny and dry, albeit still chilly.
Our opening temperature of the new week here is 34 degrees and for now, it's still quite cloudy.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
