This actually has nothing to do with turkey. But I was just wondering about yalls favorite side dish. SO what is yalls favorite Thanksgiving side dish. Mine is dressing with turkey and/or chicken with cranberry suace and home made gravy!

I love the turkey and dressing...
I also really like my sister in law's potato casserole and I love broccoli/rice/cheese casserole.
Home made rolls my stepmom make...all the desserts...like I said before - if the first ingredient is sugar...cheesy

Sweet potatoes and stuffing!

My b/f's dressing ,as he puts raisin's in it and its so yummy. Also like sweet potato casserole .

My mother-in-law's mashed potatoes!! Then my homemade pies.

i know this has been mentioned before but i can't remember where - what is the difference between dressing and stuffing? aren't they the same thing?

as for a side dish, i couldn't pick but if we had thanksgiving here the perfect dinner for me would be:

turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, mashed carrot & turnip, green beans, baked leeks and cauliflower cheese smothered in home made gravy......

...... followed by treacle sponge and custard *and a few bottle of rose wine!*

hui...that made me sooooo hungry.....btw...what is turnip?

I would like the Turkey and the mashed potatoed with gravy!!! I love it

it's a vegetable, also known as swede. it is usually mashed up with carrots and black pepper and it is so good!

Yum getting hungry here lol... my Grandmom's homemade dressing and my greenbean casserole ...i could go for some of that now.. I havent ate lunch yet cheesy

also, can someone give me a green bean casserole recipe? i love green beans.

MMM... I'm getting hungry. I'd have to say brussel sprouts. It's about the only time I make them. Although I like all of the trimmings that go along with the turkey!!
