All you folks are bragging about your fancy snow and such. All I get is more rain. Pshhh.
It's going to be 70 tomorrow, but we should get a frost Sunday night and Monday night.

Good Friday evening! I just worked a 12-hour day and am trying to unwind watching the Canadian figure skating championships. It’s been a somewhat frustrating day. I think I’m really due for my vacation starting on the 31st, I’m getting very annoyed with little things at work.
They’re still predicting a lot of snow this weekend, some of it starting tomorrow late afternoon. We have our yearly party after work tomorrow for all the management teams in our district but if it’s snowing, I won’t be going. It’s about 35 minutes away but I don’t like driving in blowing snow on the highway. To be honest, I’d rather be home anyway.
Hope everyone is enjoying a nice evening.

Good evening, all! Just sitting here watching the Pens game. My parents came in to visit for the evening and DH is working. My sister and her DH went up to Penn State for the hockey game, so I've had my niece for this evening too.
This weekend we plan on just spending a lot of time together as a family, watching Hallmark movies, cooking and baking, eating lots of yummy food, play in the snow, and sit by the fire. The kids were off school today and are off Monday as well, looks like we're still on the 20 inch range.
I pray you all stay safe, keep power, and check in when you can!

What a day! Barely a chance to breathe between jobs. Didn’t get home until after 9 p.m. First chance I got to check the forums. Three-day weekend next, with snow, sleet, freezing rain, followed by single-digit temps. Wish it were a plain old snowstorm so I wouldn’t worry so much about power outage.
Good Saturday morning! It’s -30°C/-22°F with the wind right now and temperatures will actually get colder as the day goes on. And we’ll likely have over 12 inches of snow by the time this snowstorm passes over us starting tonight. Wish I could just stay inside and cuddle up with David and watch movies all day but I have to work. David was feeling very down yesterday, he is facing unwarranted negative comments at work regarding his light workload as he waits for his shoulder surgery. And he is anxious about his pre-op tests on Monday. I wish I could take all of these struggles away from him. It worries me to see him like this. Right now he’s just sleeping peacefully with Loki by his side. I hope he just has a relaxing/worry-free weekend to recharge while I’m at work. And hope everyone will enjoy a great weekend as well.
Prayers are being said for David. I hope you both have a good weekend Martine, sending hugs.

I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’m going to tidy up the house and start laundry soon. I’m going to do some food shopping in a little while. I have a couple of other errands to run as well. We’re expecting some nasty weather tomorrow and I definitely plan on staying in all day. No plans later this evening, we’ll probably just catch up on some shows. Dinner will be grilled chicken with broccoli rabe and a tomato & mozzarella salad. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Happy MLK Weekend MMC! Can't wait for Crown's post today as it will look pretty cool with that first big step we took. 3 day weekend here and my boss told me yesterday she thinks I need it. Don't mind if I do take it. Going to do errands today and rest tonight. Snow, Ice, Rain. Not a nice night of weather coming. Good weekend to hibernate. Happy Saturday Everyone!
