TWO Milestone markers are coming our way next month (which begins tomorrow) and they are back-to-back, the 1/3 Season Point and the 200-day Season Window.
What's more, they are both UNDER a month away now and stand 26 and 27 days ahead, respectively.

Well, as stated above, we have a light rain coming down as I type this. The temperature is a very pleasant 61, but all that will change tonight when, believe it or not, there is a freeze warning out as we are predicted to plummet down into the low 30's.
And here I thought winter was over. BRRRRR!

Regardless, I plan on watching the two NCAA tournament games this afternoon and have a Super Sunday. How about you?

Yesterday's snowfall was more than a dusting. Pretty, but it put a crimp in my plans for working in the garden today. Overall the weather has my allergies/sinuses in turmoil so I haven't much energy today. As a result, I am working on store stock and periodically checking the last slow cooker full of sap. It is going down rather fast now, so I have to keep a closer watch or it will end up being sugar.

Palmer is scratching the heat register with her claws. It's rather a nice sound and since I know she is happy when I hear it, it always makes me smile.

Speaking of gardens ... I was feeling rather "spring-ish" despite the snow we received yesterday - blue skies today without the extra snow they called for so I picked up some Butterfly attractive flowering plants for the Merry Across The Creek Neighbour and my dad - his tenant will jump right in with the tinkering around the dirt when the weather permits. I like the idea of gardening, but can't stand having dirt under my fingernails - I hope the garden gloves enable me to help the neighbour out so I can take a bit of credit for the finished product.

Palmer must be making some music to entertain you like the old washboard and tupperware band we had as kids.

Good Afternoon/Evening MMC friends...Hope everyone is having a fab weekend so far...As March passes us by and April just about upon us...Hard to believe Quarter of the year has gone by already...Had a great day with all the family over to celebrate my Birthday...Well i say great day till my oldest mentioned we have to celebrate the BIG 50 next year

....ehhh that number has been in my head all day...ummmmm ok time to chill out and watch a movie....Enjoy the rest of your Day/Evening ahead MMC friends

Morning MMC and Happy April! That ain't no April Fools joke but I have to say March seemed to go ridiculously fast. I hope April stays a while. A chilly start to April here but with the sun coming out it should feel good by afternoon. Back to work for me so have a great start to April!

Good Monday morning! It got very cold overnight, have to drag out my Winter boots again. This is the first day of our new manager at the store. I have never worked with her, we’ll see how it goes. Today at work, we’ll be playing “Not yes not no”, a game when as soon as someone says yes or no, you take away their “token”. Said token will be a fish, in honour of April’s Fool day. By the end of the day, the employee who has the most fishes will win a gift card. Have a great day everyone!

A new week begins, along with a new month.
And, of course, a new set of count figures!

Days to the Season: 226
Days to Christmas Day: 268

Binary Milestones are on the agenda for April.
They come late in the month, but they DO come. And back-to-back, too!
The first marker is the 1/3 point to Christmas Day. It's only 25 days ahead.
The second is the 200-day Season Window. And it's just 26 days off.
Fun and frivolity as the month begins to draw to a close!

Well, as predicted the weather has turned cool again and we have commenced this brand new week/month at 38 degrees, here.
Our high today will only be in the mid 50's with mid 40's predicted for tomorrow.
With our lows going down into the mid 30's, it will seem like winter has indeed returned!

Carl had planned to announce that the Shispering Pines was closing permanently today but I told him such an April fools joke would be in poor taste.
(It's a good thing that today is not a Wednesday. There's no telling what that camel might pull!)
