Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

We picked-up Elizabeth's senior pictures from the photographer yesterday, and they are wonderful! The only problem I see with them is that she's so grown. She should still be sitting in my lap on the front porch swing. Those were the days!

Nancy's sister is doing Weight Watchers, too, and she found that "Blackened Chicken Tenders" at Popeye's are only 1 point! Needless to say, that's what I had for supper last night LOL. I'm down 14 pounds in four weeks!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Spoken like a true father, where Elizabeth is concerned; my parents gave me a Brass Hope Chest when I graduated so I could fill it with things to move out with - then came the suitcases two Christmases later.

Auntie. Your Keurig was in hiding? I have a shrine built around mine. Here it comes —— Yabba!

I know; I mentioned it last May or early June when we didn't have it set up and #2 son came to visit. He drinks tea more than coffee so the option would have been nice. It's quite handy dandy.
YABBA!

Happy Mid Week April Style MMC! I ran really good this morning. I'm not sure why. The alarm woke me up out of a sound sleep. I usually prefer I wake up 5 minutes before it (which I did the last 2 days). But today it woke me up and of course I felt tired. But for some reason when I went to run I felt extra energy this morning. I'm not sure why but I hope it carries me through the day lol. Should be a NICE day here with low 60s and sunshine. Perfect April Weather. Have a great one Pines Day Style everyone!

Good Wednesday morning! Only the middle of the week? This seems like a never-ending week. It is warm-ish enough this morning that David opened the patio door just a tiny bit. I’m just looking forward to the work day being done so I can enjoy some of this nice weather. Have a great day everyone!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

I did some more work on the golf cart at my brother's shop yesterday afternoon. I was almost finished, but I was betrayed by weak battery drills! Maybe today.

Elizabeth is out of school on spring break, and she wants to do a pallet garden, so now I'm on the lookout for a few pallets. I think we have some around work. Looking forward to some fresh tomatoes again!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning, Passionate Pursuers of the Holidays in general and of Christmas and its glorious Season in particular!

And we are here to be enablers in your passionate quest, the first step being to educate you as to our count status.
As such:
Days to the Season: 224
Days to Christmas Day: 266

And who can help but becoming passionate over the news of our next two, back-to-back Milestone markers arriving later this same month.
The 1/3 POINT to Christmas Day will be here in just 23 days and the 200-DAY SEASON WINDOW will be upon us the following day, both dates now being LESS than 3 1/2 weeks up ahead.
(I'll bet you're feeling Particularly Passionate now, eh?)

Cold, wet and very winter like all day yesterday and I did not see a temperature reading above 40 degrees.
That will most certainly change today, when we are predicted to have ample sun and temperature readings close to 30 degrees warmer.
(A welcomed change indeed!)
Currently, we remain cold at 39 degrees here, to begin this middle day of the week.

Carl is ready at the 'Pines for the first open house of April. Don't miss all the home-grown flowers and the pastel colored fired twinkies baked especially for the new spring season.

Until we see you there this evening then, have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!

Merry Pines Day MMC!
Busy morning so far. I already went to the gym and I just got back from the veterinarian, Rocky had an appointment for a booster shot. I straightened up the house and started laundry. I’m going to take the dog for a walk as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I have to run a couple of quick errands later and I’ll be working on my daily chores. I’m also heading to the mall with my daughter when she gets home from school, we’re both looking for a new pair of sneakers. That’s about it for me. Oh and dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx

Long day, short night, and another long day in the works - when my husband has insomnia, the cat and I wind up with it too; the cat isn't complaining. I nearly fell asleep at a meeting yesterday afternoon; that was not cool. I've already been awake for nearly two hours. I'm hoping in another few weeks, I can trust him to get up on his own as he gains more independence.

Oh well, at least I've got my Keurig to get me through. Enjoying a cup of black Early Grey tea just had my Lively Columbian java so I'm ready to roll.

Hello everyone, I haven't been on in a bit...at least since January or so. I'm happy to report that my cancer is mostly into remission...I'm still on chemo medication (a pill form) and may be on it for the long haul to manage it, but other than that 2019 is looking a lot better. I hope this message finds each one of you well and that your year has gone well thus far. We're quarter of the way done for the year...has gone by pretty quickly I think.

This is good news; we've all been thinking of you and hoping for a positive update. 100 days passed since Christmas and you have marked it with some good news.
