Christmas Countdown - 2019

Morning MMC! I am definitely enjoying April so far. It's nice when the sun comes out and it feels comfortable. Not as much freezing anymore. I know we will all complain at some point when it gets too hot but after a long winter I'll take that. Should be a nice day again for the 2nd day in a row. Have a great Friday EVE!

Good Morning MMC !

yeah, its April !!! the snow is almost all gone now, even with the dump we got on the weekend. Flowers starting to come up all over the place. Even the trees are starting to get a green blush.
Just popped a batch of biscuits in the oven.
Taking my friend to visit her mom in Milverton this morning, going to send some fresh biscuits and homemade marmalade along for their morning tea.

And not to get too personal, but you have a duty to be informed at all times of the count progress and the status of our Milestone markers.
Well, that's what we are here for and the latest is presented below, devoid of commercial endorsements.

Days to the Season: 223
Days to Christmas Day: 265

The current status of our next two Milestones is as follows:
The ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day 2019 is now only 22 days up the road. Three weeks from tomorrow.
On the following day, three weeks from the day after tomorrow, we will throw open the 200-DAY SEASON WINDOW and gaze in awe at the fact that our Season count will number in the 100's!
(Now, I hope that wasn't too personal.)

MUCH warmer here yesterday compared to Tuesday. Our high crept up almost to the 70 degree mark and there was plenty of sun with no rain.
Today is predicted to be even warmer, in the mid 70s, again with no chance of precipitation.
Presently, we see 51 degrees on our back yard thermometer.

Hello everyone, I haven't been on in a bit...at least since January or so. I'm happy to report that my cancer is mostly into remission...I'm still on chemo medication (a pill form) and may be on it for the long haul to manage it, but other than that 2019 is looking a lot better. I hope this message finds each one of you well and that your year has gone well thus far. We're quarter of the way done for the year...has gone by pretty quickly I think.

Good to see you, vet! I'm glad to hear that your health is improving!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth and I worked on her pallet garden yesterday, stapling the garden fabric to the back of the pallets, and buying potting soil and seeds. So far, I'm $80 into this garden LOL. Them better be some good maters!

Trees are budding, grass is just beginning to show a little green. Spring may be on the way ... or here, but slacking off. My Christmas cactus is budding, too! The biggest April bloom it's ever generated.

The workload and hours continue to be just shy of brutal, and I'm just about burned out. Keep your fingers crossed, I may get a comp day or two soon to recharge. The pace has been killing since mid-January.

Merry Thursday!
It’s going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 55 degrees. I skipped the gym this morning, I plan on taking a ride to the beach to take a long walk and enjoy the sunshine. Other than that it will be a typical day of errands and chores. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
