Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth and I worked on her pallet garden yesterday, stapling the garden fabric to the back of the pallets, and buying potting soil and seeds. So far, I'm $80 into this garden LOL. Them better be some good maters!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I dropped my surprise off to the Across the Creek neighbour early this morning. Then, I had a feeling of worry that I popped it into the wrong box because the home in front of hers had a string of Christmas lights up and a wreath that have been unlit since Christmas. Yikes! But seeing the stuff outside in preparation for gardening calmed my fears. When I got home, I double-checked from my window and could see that it was the right mailbox; whew! Now she'll need to plant an extra 3 square foot garden for the new butterfly garden which I'm sure her son and daughter who helped make my New Year's thank you sign will help her with as they visit often.

I like reading about people getting ready for gardens and the blossoms sprouting out down South; I see the promise of buds on the twigs on the old Ash outside the kitchen window, but not much else. Dusty roads mixed with puddles and still snowbanks everywhere.

Happy Thursday!

Trees are budding, grass is just beginning to show a little green. Spring may be on the way ... or here, but slacking off. My Christmas cactus is budding, too! The biggest April bloom it's ever generated.

The workload and hours continue to be just shy of brutal, and I'm just about burned out. Keep your fingers crossed, I may get a comp day or two soon to recharge. The pace has been killing since mid-January.

Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that things will work out for the better for you soon! {{{HUGS}}}

Thank you. I had another 11-hour day today. And if they hadn’t sent some of the work out to a temp, I’d be there yet!

I’m planning to use ALL my vacation days this year. I’ll need ‘em.

There is this house 2 blocks from me that still has their Christmas lights on every night. It's nice seeing those signs in stores this time of year in the Off-Season!

I spotted one with huge dark red garland and bows draped around the banister of the wooden steps leading to a house near the laundromat. And on another street a home with blue lights still strung across the eaves and the cascading variety hanging over the old Spruce tree on the front lawn.
Doesn't look out of place because there is still at least a foot of snow on the lawns and a few snow banks that are like mountains.

T.G.I.F. Merry Weekend Eve!

Rough night again, but this time it was the cat waking me up at 3:00 and insisting at 4:00 that I get up - he's like a baby learning by repeating things and making them a habit - I wasn't impressed - stayed in bed until 4:30 and finally got up on my own terms - but the cat sitll won.

Husband is just starting to stir now - I told him not to wake me before 5:00.

Already having my Java in my pigs on the farm mug; switched from my tomato vine mug because I needed to control something - silly - but needed this week.

Busy day at work and I'm hoping to get my Mojo (car) into the car wash this weekend for a luxury touchless wash that it well deserves.

My husband had two falls last night and as I was helping him to bed he questioned what he'll do without me when I go to Toronto on the 15th and 16th so I think I'll call the boys this weekend and we'll figure it out.

If one of them can't come and stay with him, I'll drive him to spend 3 nights with one of them. Then I'd have to drive to Toronto and return to get him on the 16th and take half a day on the 17th to travel back 'cause I can't drive at night because my migraines are in full force since last November. Around the time I stopped working out because extra hours I had to put in at work and then extra time caring for my husband.

Hopefully I get over to the gym this weekend - boy I need to stretch and get moving to some music instead of just singing along in the car.

:shakeitEnjoy your day - keep a merry thought in your head!:brr

Good Friday morning! Rain will be moving in later today and will last until midday tomorrow and then it's supposed to be a great weekend. I am looking forward to having two days off. I feel so tired, I'm just going to relax this morning before working the afternoon/evening shift. Hope everyone enjoys a great day!

Evening everyone. The household is finally over the flu epidemic that hit us, its been a trying start to spring. Hope everyone has a good evening.
I'm glad y'all are feeling better!

I'm sorry he's having such a hard time. I hope you and the boys can figure out a schedule. And I hope you can get over the migraines, too!

Gosh, sending more prayers for y'all.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth and I planted the garden yesterday, just in time for the coming three days of rain. I hope it doesn't wash away our seeds!

I think we're planning to meet Jacob and his girlfriend for dinner tonight.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Merry Friday!! We are off to MA this weekend for a softball tournament for my younger daughter. We leave tonight and will be back on Sunday. Of course all the girls are excited to stay in a hotel and swim in the pool. I think they are more excited for that than the games..lol
Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!!

Good Morning, Everyone.
Weekend Eve has come 'round again. And right on schedule, I'm pleased to report.

So too have our latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 222
Days to Christmas Day: 264

And also right on schedule, our next pair of Milestone makers are advancing upon us, drawing nearer by the day.
The 1/3 point to Christmas Day now stands exactly three weeks away.
The 200-DAY SEASON WINDOW is right behind by just a single day.
Binary Milestones back-to-back!
(Plan to be here for the fun later this month.)

A simply outstanding day was had here yesterday, with our high reaching 75, sun in abundance, no rain, and little to no wind. Perfect conditions!
Today will be about 15 degrees cooler and it will come with the wet stuff, but tomorrow will see the 70's return and we should have a really good weekend.
We begin this final day of the work week at 57 degrees here in central NC and we have already seen some sprinkles this morning.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And may you have a truly Stellar Start to your weekend this afternoon!

Merry Friday MMC!
I’m heading out in a couple of minutes, Rocky and I are going on our morning walk. Back home afterward to straighten up the house and start laundry. I’m meeting my youngest for lunch today. I’m going to stop at the butcher on my way home. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great weekend ahead!!!
xx
