How exciting! It really is such a magical place <3
Good morning and Happy Monday MMC!
My husband goes back to work today after being off for a week. Back to my regular routine today. I have errands to run and then I’ll be working on chores around the house. I’m going to bake some brownies as well, my mother is coming to visit later this afternoon. And dinner will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!

Good Morning MMC!! My daughter's team lost her softball game 6-4 and now they play again tomorrow night and if they lose then they are out..we'll see. A cloudy day today and just back to work but I am off Thursday and Friday. Hope you all have a great day!!

And by the time this week is over, we will indeed have reached yet another Milestone marker on our journey to Christmas Season 2019!

The very warm/huimd/steamy weather continued again yesterday with only a sprinkle ot two to break the monotony.
This first day of the week will again see us to 92 with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
Presently, we are at 79 degrees here in the capital city.

We had another great trip to the mountains! We're all pretty much over the break-in, and we're back to feeling at home there. I did find that they stole a guitar that Jacob and I had left up there so we didn't have to transport one on every visit. Oh well...some people.
We tubed down a freezing river and ate WAY too much food, so it was awesome!

We had a major fire in town yesterday as the old antique wearhouse burned down. It was being renovated for use by Leons furniture.
they were there all night and the building is gone this morning.
The one thing that puzzles me is the number of people on facebook complaining about people watching the fire.
Anyway, have to take mom shopping this morning before work, so better get moving, have a great day everyone !!!

That's such a shame. I hope no one was hurt.
happy to say no one was hurt. Firefighters from 4 communities came to fight this. There was no water on site so they had to drive tanker trucks about 4 blocks across from mall to fill up and return to the fire.

I’m so sorry to hear about the guitar, Brad. You’re right - the nerve of some people. Thank goodness there are a lot of ones still left! Glad to hear you guys had a great time!
Good morning all! Happy Monday! I’m off today and had my doctors appointment for my drivers license follow-up. I’ve been approved to drive! Yay!!! I just have to wait on the state now to send everything back in through the mail. The doctor told me to call them tomorrow for an update, to so how long that should take. Hopefully not long, but I’ve already waited 6 months, so I can wait a little longer.
My niece is here today too. Not much else is planned today, except DD’s private baton lessons tonight. We leave for Canton, Ohio Thursday around lunch time for internationals and will be there until late Sunday night. She’s been practicing extra hard!

Lots going on this week in my world. Youth football camp Today through Wednesday. More Little League Football sign-ups Thursday through Saturday. Football coaches meeting Sunday. The relaxing part of my summer is not officially over. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. LOL
MIL update: Things are not going well at all. After it looked like some progress was being made, last night she became unresponsive again. They believe she had a stroke, though they are not sure of the severity. Her ammonia levels are very high and it looks like her liver is completely shot. She is currently being sedated and back on a respirator. The doctor told my FIL to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. The current prognosis is not good. My wife went down to the hospital this morning to be with her dad and sister. I am just trying to keep things as normal as possible here at home.
