I'M SO EXCITED FOR YALL! I CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR NOVEMBER TRIP! I'M GONNA NEED ALL THE SECRETS AND TIPS....why was I shouting....I'm gonna need a full report on what to do and what not to do....are you reading anything ahead of time to help you learn about some of the secrets?

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been there before and DH hasn’t been there since he’s been a child. The other couple we’re going with, was there a few years ago. We’re using a travel agent and she is doing a lot to help us out. I also follow and pin a lot of stuff on Pinterest. I will definitely let you know if there is anything I feel there is stuff to let out or that is a must. I am starting to really get excited! I am super excited for you guys too!

All eyes are on the skies and all ears on the weather forecast as Hurricane Dorian relentlessly approaches us from the south with 115 mph winds. Looks like it will be razor thin for the coast and even if the center stays a bit off shore, it will still be very rough over there. We could get gusty winds here too despite being well inland. Keeping our fingers crossed.
It's ominously cloudy at this hour and we stand at 77 degrees here to begin this day of watching and waiting.

Happy Friday Eve!! Typical work day for me and my husband is working late so I think we may do pizza for dinner. Yesterday I got a Spirit Halloween coupon in the mail just more signs we are headed into the most wonderful time of the year!

Sad Tidings Dept: Our cable provider is moving TCM to the Sports and Entertainment package in mid - October. They think this is fair trade for adding Hallmark Drama earlier in the month. They are massively confused...

We received an educational toy Christmas catalog in yesterday's mail.

There are certain mail-order catalogs that we receive only just before the holiday season ... they've started to arrive.

BTW, if we loose power here as we often do, an emergency countdowner may be needed.
If I haven't posted by 10:00 or so tomorrow morning, it means the juice is gone!

Hope you escape it; I'm out of here by 9:00 a.m. for a quick two-day trip so I won't be able to offer emergency back up - but good vibes and prayers are heading your way and to others concerned about the nasty Dorian.

I miss receiving the Sears Wish Book; I got one from Bronner's once.

I always started folding corners and circling stuff over coffee or a beer.

If I did it while I was having a beer, I seemed to want more. HaHa

Worked an early shift so I can get ready for my departure tomorrow morning.

Have some family business to take care of out of town.

My dad was thinking of coming along and visiting my brother, but he has his handy man returning over the weekend so he opted out.

I'll have Sirius 60's on 6 and 70's on 7 to keep me company on the highway.

Not sure if I'm returning on Saturday or Sunday.

O'Malley will be well stocked with two litter boxes and three feeding and water stations just in case.

I'll pop in over coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Lost a dear resident who knew my grandmother whom I never met today. A bit sad, so friends are coming over for dinner.

I am so thankful for the fall weather, for the Dorian storm staying far enough away from us inland, and for a beautiful apple spice candle lit in our home. Going to the local university’s football game this weekend and very excited! Fall is here!!
