Confidential to Auntie: I love reading about O'Malley. (Carl does, too!)

Thanks, Crown; I'm happy I can still write about him and that the health scare he gave me last month doesn't seem to be as much of an issue lately. He didn't take to the medication so it's all him. I think he has a rough go when he's been lounging too long and his body is stiff. If I take the vacuum out, boy does he boogey down the hall as if nothing is wrong.

Hope you're having a great trip and that all went well with the rental.

Good Morning MMC !
Thanksgiving Day here in Canada. We already had the big dinner with our family and had a really great time together.

This is a picture of the eldest, my mom at 88 years and the youngest Mira 6 months old in our family. The dress Mira is wearing is one that mom made for Miras Aunt over 30 years ago

Good New Week Commencement, Folks!

And we commence this week with the knowledge that our wonderful Season of choice is now less than one month away!

Days to Halloween: 17 (UNDER 2 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to the Season: 30 (UNDER one month to go!)
Days to Christmas Day: 72 (Nearly down to 10 weeks!)

(Great balls O' fire, time's a wastin'!)

Thanks once again Edge, for filling in yesterday.
You are as dependable as the Season itself!

Nice weather at the coast witn no rain until just before we arrived back in Raleigh, then we got plenty.
One more set of people to visit at our cottage before we shut it down for the winter. It's been a good year.
The forecast for the week ahead here back home shows mid to upper 70's for the highs until Thursday, when we drop back into the mid 60's. There is a good chance of more rain Wednesday.
This new week begins here at 63 rather wet degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
And a really great week ahead.
(Oh. How about them Panthers!)

What a wonderful pic and great memories!!

Good Monday morning and Bonne Action de Grâce/Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! I have a couple of days off after working this weekend. After taking care of laundry and chores this morning, we want to go for a drive to look at the Fall colours. We can tell from looking at a couple of mountains in the distance that trees have (finally) changed colours here. I also will be getting what I need for my Halloween costume. I will be a crazy cat lady. All I need are big rollers for my hair, a pair of big 80's style glasses and small stuffed plush cats to pin to my robe. Have a great day everyone!

Glad you're enjoying your vacation.

I haven't seen our shoe boxes out yet, but have picked up a few things to go in them. Last year was my first time stuffing boxes; it took me over two hours to pick out the surprises because I had to create an image in my mind of the joy on the face of the child receiving it. I included some seasonal photos and a festive one.
I look forward to filling the boxes every year. Michelle does most of the work and I do most of the encouraging to buy more. ;) I love your giving heart Auntie!

Happy Thanksgiving Christmasstar!!!

Good morning MMC!!!
The weather is finally starting to turn here. We got a lot of rain last night which is the first significant rain we've seen in over two months. And the cooler temps are putting me in the Christmas mood.
Have a wonderful day!!!

We came back a day early - didn't go to the Casino. I should have known when my dad told me to bring my passport "just in case" that he was surprising me with a Frankenmuth MI trip. Yes, my Merry friends, I have now seen Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in person. If I figure out how to redo my settings on my phone, I can load them to my laptop and pop the photos I took into the Blossoms thread. I only spent $80.00 and among my merry treasures was a beautiful box of 20 greeting cards.

How exciting you were able to visit Bronner's! That is a trip I want to make some day for sure. I'm sorry to hear you weren't feeling 100%, but glad you were able to push through it. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Auntie!

Good morning MMC ~
I just spoke with my daughter, she’s sick and stayed home today. I’m going to pick up a few things for her and stop by her apartment. I also have a chiropractor appointment this afternoon. Other than that I’ll be working on my chores and dinner will be Italian wedding soup. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!
xx

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It rained last night! Thank you, Lord!

I worked all weekend at my brother's house, helping him put together the swing set/tunnel slide/fort he bought for his daughter's 2nd birthday...and we're not finished yet. I have to go back this afternoon.

Elizabeth's college debut performance of The Importance of Being Earnest is Tuesday night, and will run 6 times (every other night for two weeks). She's playing Cecily, Jack's beautiful young ward. Of course! ;)

I just got a text that I have to pickup some pine straw for Mama's shrubbery today, too. Busy, busy.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Happy 3rd week of October everybody :) I am super pumped to know that in less than three weeks, my Tree goes up along with my outside lights and decorations! I have been ready to decorate since September 1st hit, which is always my personal start of Fall. And we've been getting nice cool nights too and the smell of fireplace smoke is in the air! We're in the best months of the year now, friends!

Good morning, everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to my fellow Canadians! Kim and I made it to Cornwall last night and are excited to celebrate with her family. I do believe this our 14th year celebrating together. I've only missed on Thanksgiving over the years due to going to a concert in Buffalo instead.

I must say, it's a picturesque Saturday morning in Cornwall. Temperatures are currently around 10c/50f. We should be reaching a high of about 17c/63f with some rain beginning later in the afternoon. I think I will be running to Thanksgiving dinner (from Cornwall to Long Sault), so I have to make sure that I arrive before the rain begins!

Hopefully I will be able to get out today and take some photos for the Blossoms thread, too. If not today, tomorrow, for sure!

Well, everyone, have a great Saturday!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Brent!
