Have a great day, Coach! I meant to write to you last night - I'm not sure if this is something you guys allow with the girls or not - my kids I think were 6 and 7 or 7 and 8 the first time we fly, but their iPads, books, and coloring books seemed to occupy them well for the flight. We also talked about the trip, but tried not to be loud, so we weren't bothering others around us. I think you'll find that there will be a lot of kids on your flight anyway, since you're heading to Disney and people won't be even second guess it. I'm not sure how long your flight is, but when we flew down out of Pittsburgh, there were so many kids and families. It was a lot different than we went to Punta Cana with them a few years back. That was a lot more couples I think going on their honeymoons. A lot of airlines do internet as well, that you can use once you're up in the air so far and can watch movies as well. DH and I usually use SouthWest and they have this. JetBlue DH and I flew ourselves when we took a trip to the Caribbean a few years back and they actually have tv's right at your seats, which was super nice. Always something to think about with kids, but always have to take in to consideration the baggage fees and everything else too! The only other thing I can recommend is - have the girls sit with whoever you think they'll do better with if they get scared on the flight, especially since this is their first. That's the most important thing to remember. They'll want whoever they come to when they're scared. Hate to say that, but my kids voiced this before the flight and I'm glad we listened. DD did fine, but DS was scared the first time and needed me to talk him through everything. Just something to think about, in case your girls prefer one of you over the other, in times of need.
Countdown is on! I bet you are over the moon right now!
