Yay! I can see the end of the thread! I wasn't even bothering to access it because I wasn't able to see it for so long!! I have a crisis on my hands! My primary laptop's cord went kaput and since the battery is dead, I can't access my giant Christmas music library!!

cheesy Thanks for all the kind thoughts for O'Malley. He's indeed back to his old-young self. Right now he's snoozing on the guest bed, hugging one of the pillows.
Today was a record breaking day, temperature-wise in my "neck of the woods". A beautiful summery day (although it's November), we reached 70F, some days in the summer were not as warm as today.
Must have been the heat wave coming from the South as my U.S. neighbours took many forms of transportation to get out and vote.
Thanks for the lovely weather. Too bad I was stuck inside at work, but I still appreciated it. We haven't had a November day this warm since 1956.
Got my shorts on.

Hello everyone! Getting in the Christmas Spirit. Our familyfinished up all the Christmas Shoeboxes last night. Our teenage son helped too. Great feeling to know all those little kids faces will be smiling
so big when they are handed out to them before Christmas. We really got
a lot in them and even had some extra candy leftover from Halloween to
tuck inside. Franklin Graham is director for it and here's a big
birthday wish to Billy Graham on his 90th birthday on Friday !

It's great to be back.
Things are ship-shape at the cottage and the hatches are battened down to brave winter at the beach.
(Let me tell you, there are not many places I have been that feel colder than a walk on the beach with a frigid winter wind blowing off the ocean!)
Well, we will start with a big THANKS! to Jay for his assistance with the countdown while I was gone!
(And yes, he can make up for missing a day by sending me a nice down comforter.)

We are down to single digits to the season!
I've got my "Day 5 before-the-season" post ready to go for Nov 8.
But a sad note. I see that Dom has left us, circumstances unknown.
A shame. He was one of our very strongest supporters of the count.
He was also scheduled to do a special pre-season post for Day 2 before the season (Nov 11). Can we get a new volunteer for that date?
