Good Morning Halfoween friends! This is the big Halfoweekend we have all been waiting for. Tomorrow we will be halfway back to Halloween. It still doesn't feel like it is really possible.

My Michael Myers film marathon takes a pause today. I want to watch "Trick R Treat", because tomorrow is going to be all about the big guy - Michael that is. I think the original Halloween is the perfect choice for tomorrow!

I want to try and get in a Hobby Lobby Run too, since checking out the Fall decorations just seems so perfect in the context of what this weekend is and what it represents.

I did my Halfoween celebration with the girls last night. They had things scheduled for today and where tomorrow is a school night, well. It was fund, we ate decent food and then lots of junk. I had planned on making spooky waffles but let them choose and they something else. That's okay, I am planning on skull and pumpkin-shaped waffles for dinner tomorrow night. We watched too Halloween season movies. We stayed up a little to late but what else can you do when you are having a sleep-over at Grams?

Good Moring Halfoween Friends!! At long last, it is Halfoween here. We have made it halfway back. I know that strictly math-wise, the true half way point would be sometime on Tuesday or early Wednesday. Today seems like as good of a day as any to celebrate. I have always enjoyed having Halfoween be the grand finale for Spooky Spring, and taking place on the last weekend of this awesome month.

I did make a Hobby Lobby trip yesterday and all I can say is, Fall is EXPLODING in there. It seems there is more and more every week now. Christmas trees are in the back room and I don't know when they are coming out for sure, but my guess would be we see the little mini trees probably out around Memorial Day weekend.

The monthly wrap-up is going to be a little different today. Spooky Spring, what more needs to be said? It was a perfect month that (at least in my region) brought us October-esque weather and plenty of Fall / October Feels. Fall returning to Hobby Lobby. Scary movies played abundantly, and it never hurts seeing Michael on TV. I enjoyed having my big plastic pumpkins out on display. Lots of pumpkin spice candles in here this month. May is what we are looking towards now, and we will be eying Jack O Lantern Day #4, Hitting 150 Days to October, and the all-important 100 Days to The Bers. "The Road" back to The Bers also opens up at the end of the month. WOW.

Happy Halfoween!

Unfortunately Spooky Spring kind of got past me this year. It was not as great as the past two which is ok. I just did not get to enjoy the activities as much this year.

On a good note, i really finished out Saturday with a strong Halfoween/Spooky Spring day and I will continue that today. So luckily all was not lost. I will just make sure I make up for it with this year's Halloween season!
 
I finished filling the 72 Skeleton eggs I bought on clearance last year but I think I got what I paid for, they were hard to snap together and I think they are going to be very difficult for the kids to open themselves. Hopefully the stickers and small toys inside will make it worth their while, and a nice change from candy/treats.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Spooky Spring is in the rear view mirror now. I really hope that everyone got to enjoy it. I saw Irish above saying that Spooky Spring got away a little bit this year. That is OK. I hope the spooky feelings that were felt by all were fun. I had a blast. I looked forward to Spooky Spring ever since last year's was over, so now in a way, the "countdown" for Spooky Spring now starts again, same as when Halloween is over.

I think Mathematically today is the "true" Halfway to Halloween. Edge is a math wiz so I believe him. I always felt like April 30th was more "symbolically" halfway since we are closing out Spooky Spring and it makes sense to have that be the "grand finale" before entering the new month.

Our next JOL Day is in exactly 30 days. A nice round number. We will also see a milestone THIS WEEK, on Friday again, that sees us safely reaching 150 DAYS TO OCTOBER. Wow. And of course the big date to keep your eye on not just for this thread, but for everyone who loves The Bers, is Memorial Day weekend, coming our way now in just about 25 days!! We all know that is when "The Road" back to The Bers officially opens up. We've been counting down to The Bers ever since January 1st, but having the road "officially" open is a big boost psychologically!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Spooky Spring is really over now. I kept the electric jack o lantern on last night one more time. I won't see it again until JOL Day at the end of the month. The giant light up pumpkins from Costco are also going back in to slumber, they won't make it back out until about 4 months from now when we start decorating for Fall / Halloween Season here. It was a good time and I enjoyed it. Now I can enjoy May and everything that comes along with the month.

As far as the May preview goes, It's milestones and special days a plenty. The first thing we will reach is the 150 Days to October, coming our way on Thursday of THIS WEEK, then, we will celebrate the arrival of the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS window on May 22nd, just about 3 weeks from today. Lastly, we close out the month with "THE ROAD" back to The Bers officially opening up on Memorial Day weekend, and we say goodbye to May with JOL Day #4. A pretty jam-packed month!

Folks my Tuesday Halloween thought this week is about "Halloween Hunting" or "Fall Hunting". I started last month and was very happy to see Hobby Lobby sprouting up the first week of the month. I'm wondering about what other places can I check in the coming weeks, Maybe Jo Ann Fabrics? I think last year they had stuff out in very late summer, like 3rd week of July. There is also the Lowes outdoor garden center. Lots of places to "hunt" and it makes me happy to think of doing it.
