Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last it's Friday. I woke up this morning and that's the first thing that popped into my head. All day long we inch closer and closer to the weekend. And we're already on our way!

I'm planning on making a bath and body works run this weekend, hopefully their "Halloween Shop" is open or at least in the very early stages. I've seen some posts online that they are pretty much in full Fall mode, with Halloween progress being varied depending on where you're at. They have a sweet ghost wallflower plug that I would like to pick up!

On our countdowns, our next milestone will be a little over one week from today when we reach the 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. Wow. And you can see now that we are well under a month to go until being back home in The Bers.

I leave you today with one of my Halloween pictures I asked Bing to make. I think I'm getting better! Have a great day!

LOVE it! I feel like these would make great phone and desktop wallpapers if they'd allow you to tweak the aspect ratio. I guess you could always crop them afterward, but then it leaves out key details from the picture.

Morning Halloween fans!

We are completing a week of August (yeah I know it is not a full week, but close enough) which means another week closer to Fall!

I am hoping when I go to the store this weekend that I see some Fall and Halloween stuff out. this weekend in Ohio we have a no sales tax weekend on clothes and school items. That does not really help the Fall decor, but it increases traffic in the stores so many stores try to get Fall stuff out then. But we will see.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! Another mild day is on tap for us, maybe a tad bit more humid, but no more 90's so far. It's amazing because I am looking at the second week in August and it still seems mild compared to July. This is indeed the month that the temps and the humidity start receding, and so far it's not disappointed.

This morning we are going to look for yard sales and also go to our local Flea Market - I haven't been there since well before Abigale was born. We close out the morning with a grocery run and I am hoping so much to finally see Halloween candy on the shelves at Walmart. I have saw Fall themed candy at Martins and CVS now, but so far no "true" Halloween decorated bags.

How's everybody's Fall Preseason going so far? Our next milestone will be in just one week as we celebrate the 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone!

Have a great Saturday, friends!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I am loving these cool evenings and even cooler mornings. The heat has slightly returned to my neck of the woods, we are still getting into the mid 80's, but it is just DIFFERENT now. We're cooling down by dinner time again, and by the time we go to sleep it is cool outside. Could easily be September mornings and evenings again.

I've been able to burn small amounts of sticks and lawn debris the past couple of evenings. They have been my first proper burnings of the 2023 "Fall Preseason".

Grass mowing here is slowing down because of the dryness and there will probably now be only one or two more "mows" before The Bers are here. Probably beyond that is just leaf cleanup, as early as it seems, I would think I maybe have half a dozen more times of mowing before we are totally done for the season.

We will enter into the 30's in our Days to Halloween Season count this week, and also on Saturday, will at long last be the 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone! So buckle up and get ready for that this week! Autumn decoration continues here today slowly. My goal is to get the giant Costco pumpkins out on display, and also change the outside decorative flag that is in the mulch bed.

Have a great day! Think those Halloween thoughts!

Good evening,

The air has been very Fall feeling today. A cool breeze and temperature in the mid 70s earlier and getting cooler.
At the grocery store this morning they had several pumpkin flavored items. We picked up some pumpkin spice coffee and pumpkin pie pop tarts. They also had pumpkin pie ice cream, but we decided to wait on that. The monster cereals were also out along with boxes of other cereals with Halloween themed boxes.

I mowed the front yard today (then the belt slipped off) but while doing so I was listening to my Spotify Halloween playlist. It fit with the weather so perfectly today. I am certainly ready for Fall and Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Monday! Not going to lie, like most people I'm sure, Monday is the most disliked day of the week. You might have your favorite day of the week, but for me if you started them at Monday, Monday would be at the bottom.

Getting right into our counts this morning, you can see that our next milestone will be in FIVE DAYS when we celebrate 50 days to October. And tying that into the weekly count, October is only 7 weeks away. WOW. The next big thing will be when we enter into a 30's count on our "Days to Halloween Season", on Thursday. How appropriate! Our "mini Friday" this week will have sort of a milestone of its own.

Folks, I had a great weekend shopping. Full Halloween Shop is open at Bath & Body works. Walmart is getting in Halloween candy. And there were code oranges everywhere at Costco. We are soon approaching a very magical time when we can find Fall, Halloween, AND Christmas things in the stores all together. I took pictures of Lowes one year when it had full decorations for "The Big 3", I wanted to have the picture in case I ever needed an emergency dose of Feels.

Have a great Monday! Fall Pre-Season rolls along!

Monday is definitely my least favorite day of the week. I'm trying to look at the positives, though. At least today is a Monday in the Fall Preseason and the Bers are imminent. If it was a Monday in late February or March then I'd probably be in a funk right now.

You know we are close. It is code orange in more places than not which puts a big smile on my face.

Yes! I even found Cinnamon Sugar Cookie coffee at Target this weekend. That stuff isn't supposed to be out until closer to Christmas! It's very hard to be in a bad mood during this time of year.

Hello all!

When it comes to my least favorite day of the week, it is actually Tuesday. Yes of course Monday means back to work, and generally I am tired. However, I am usually more tired on Tuesday, and the week still seems like it is forever long. Also, there is rarely anything to look forward to on a Tuesday. During football season, on Mondays there is at least Monday Night Football. But Tuesday, there is just nothing.
Wednesday is ok because you can see the end of the week coming. Thursday is so close to the end, you feel like you can really make it. Then of course Friday is Friday.
