Halloween 2023 Countdown!

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 20

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! Today is the day that it's "ok" to start daydreaming about another October weekend just a little bit. There's a definite mentality shift sometime Wednesday afternoon, and you can feel the weekend calling out. It's a great feeling.

Folks, my daughter is one year old today. The whole last year has just flown by. Like how our beloved 'Bers are flying by, except even FASTER.

We're having a birthday party for her on Saturday at the local park. She has a "nightmare before Christmas" purple and black dress with Jack and Sally on it. I hope the weather cooperates and it's not too cold.

We continue marching towards Halloween, just 20 days are left now. Tonight is a Michael Myers marathon on AMC. My eyes will be glued! Have a great day, friends!

Last night we drove around the neighborhoods around us and lots of Halloween displays and lights. Some of them were quite large and elaborate. I may try to go get some pictures at dusk one night.

Evening Halloween Fans! I love October. I realize it more and more every single day of this wonderful month. Why can't every month be October? I mean really that would be awesome lol. Happy Halloween!

I think a December Friday the 13th is a perfect day to watch Nightmare Before Christmas and Gremlins. That way it is not quite such a waste.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Mini Friday is finally here. I love Thursdays. And tomorrow, the real deal shows up, "actual" Friday, but it's Friday the 13th.

You guys know I love Friday the 13ths, but I feel like having one in October sort of "wastes" it. A Friday the 13th in March or July feels like an extra JOL Day, but having one in October it sort of gets buried in the background of everything Fall and Halloween.

We're almost at the mid point in the month now. And that's scary, even for October.

Evening Halloween Fans! I've got a big spooky event on Sunday. I'll talk about it more this weekend. Tonight I'm just glad to be home and relaxing after a busy day at work. It's the little October things. Happy Halloween!

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 18



Happy Friday the 13th, Friends! Our final Friday the 13th of this year is today. I have to make sure I watch Jason at some point this evening. Halloween is Michael's day, Friday the 13th always belongs to Jason!

We're marching along through October now, there's no slowing down time I'm afraid. Just can't believe we are almost halfway through as of this weekend.

Last night I replaced three sections of lights outside, all of my bushes are now orange. I had the bushes purple and orange, but this year wanted to try and do "all orange" to see how it would look. I might put up a purple light bulb by the front porch to see how it looks.

Not too many more houses decorated in the neighborhood, so I wonder if we have them all. If no more show up this weekend, I'm thinking that's it.

There's a Jason marathon tonight on AMC. It will be easy to catch Jason in action! Have a great day!

Evening Halloween Fans! How fitting is it that Friday the 13th happens in October this year? I have a major Halloween event on Sunday evening so I even took off Monday to rest up after the crazy fun. Happy Halloween!
