Halloween 2023 Countdown!

Hope your party is perfect!
My nephew’s volunteer every year at a nearby Haunted house. They worked last weekend and this weekend. Super popular place with kids and adults. Last Saturday 300 people pass through and tonight was just as busy! Meet the crew!
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 2
Happy Sunday Halloweekend Friends! Day 2 of the Halloweekend. A very skinny looking countdown post this morning, I almost don't even want to think about tomorrow and how it will look, "and then there was one". We started counting down a long time ago, and now we are nearly at the destination.
Today for me is going to be a repeat of yesterday. Just relax around the house, enjoy the Fall and cooler weather, keep watching HP, and later today go for a six mile run. Today will be the last time I run before the half marathon next weekend. There's some landmarks I run by that are beautiful in the fall and at Christmas, I'm hoping to take some pics while I am out today.

I had my 4th Great Pumpkin Egg Hunt yesterday and today I have a baby shower to attend so my Halloweekend is fun, but definitely a bit different than my normal routine of staying in baking and watching Harry Potter! I think having the Pumpkin Hunt earlier in the month is more fun for me and I am hoping that maybe having a Halfoween Egg Hunt might work out in 2024, the kids seem to be the right age. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy these last couple of days of October!
Morning Halloween Fans!
The party was a success! We had about 40 people attend. The weather was perfect so we had people outside by the fire, in the house, and in the garage. It was a lot of fun for sure! We will certainly host more parties in the future.
Here we sit just a couple of days away from Halloween. The weather is turning cooler and I still need to watch some more Halloween movies. Going to try hard to get the most out of these next couple of days before I make the transition to Christmas.

Hello all you Halloween spirits! We had a fun dog costume party at the condo last evening. There were about 20 entries and the costumes were really creative. Someone made doggie treats and human treats for all. Ace didn't participate but the parade of dogs reminded me of all the costumes I've had for my pets throughout the years. It was a very nice event.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The Halloweekend is in the rear-view mirror unfortunately, and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did! We've got one big day to go, and TOMORROW, is our day on this thread. I feel like really "our time" is all of October and maybe to some extent September, but Halloween is for sure the big day here.
Today is our November preview here in this thread. I know what you're thinking, how can November tie into Halloween / October in any way? You'd be surprised.
But we have milestone days to reach in November. We truly do. I don't want to spoil them because they are exciting. Obviously the countdown thread returns and is "restocked" with countdowns. Beyond that and looking ahead a little bit, we have the beginning of Christmas Season, and of course Thanksgiving. November is first of two "bonus months", where we don't have to miss Halloween as much because of all of the Christmas excitement. The bonus months really work, I promise you, it always amazes me when we are in the last week of December post-Christmas and I look at these Halloween counts and think, "wow, we've went through a huge chunk of time".
The NEW 2024 HALLOWEN COUNTDOWN thread is saved and ready to go, I will be posting in here tomorrow probably one last time late tomorrow evening to share my thoughts, and hopes for the 2024 season, and then link to the NEW thread, and we will be off and running, just like that.

We have the last two days to enjoy Spooky Season and the first of the Big three....Halloween. I am actually taking a rare mid week day (Wednesday) off so I can enjoy Halloween this year and not have to worry about getting to bed at my normal time of 8. It will give me extra time to enjoy the evening.
I will be watching for it in the very sincere pumpkin patch across the street. It hasn't gotten real busy today yet but in another couple of hours I imagine it will be totally swamped.
