Christmas Countdown - 2009

Hi all.

That beginning 2 looks good. It will be Christmas season before we know it.

Tonight we are going to eat with my in-laws to celebrate my FIL's birthday. He will be 62 on Wednesday. He is ready to retire and travel.

Our cold spell has gone. It was short and sweet. We didn't get snow, but I did love the cold.

Another Monday, another week! And those twos I see look great! Crown! The Mormon Tabernackle Choir sent me a number of their discs this year for play on MerryChristmasRadio. I'd been a fan before but never listened as intently as I did those new discs and they are really remarkable! Maybe a class trip to Utah is in order for December! All those in favor say aye!
Got up Saturday morn to minus two degrees!!! That was the coldest I've seen in many, many years! And we had snow as well...About four inches total over the weekend...And while I sorted through items to sell on ebay, my wife began taking down the tree(yes it is still up...Through both laziness and reluctance to truly end the season). I got up at about ten yesterday and went to bed at nine...A good day for slleping! Right Crown???

and soo we are back at it again...And knowing that the 1/4 milestone is so close makes me almost accept that Christmas is truly over for this year...

It's the ONE QUARTER Season Day mark! You heard right, folks. In a mere 24 days we will be a fourth of the way back to the Christmas Season again!

Ain't it the truth??? On Christmas it was warm and today we have 3" and it is still falling!! Beautiful, fluffy snow!! I appreciate the snow we have today but I really want snow on Christmas Eve 2009. Maybe this year.....

I´m hoping for the same...we´ve had a winter wonderland for two weeks till two days ago.....on Christmas...not one flurry.....but then...it is like it is...and I ´m gratefull for so many things....snow isn´t that important then....it would be like the icing on the cake tho.....*hoping for a White Christmas 2009*....for all of us who love snow

Man,We were hit with a nice lil snow storm.it snowed half the day then started up again lastnight.we probably have 14 in or more in some places! its a mess.
snowmen,angels,sledding and snowball fights will be had for awhile!

Meceka - this Christmassy site does make us feel better! Singingringingtree - what a great idea - to put up the Christmas tree on your birthday!!!!! And Johnor - I love the mental picture of you and your baby goddaughter singing Christmas songs in the snow!!!!

I leave my Christmas lights up outside - and turn them on if it snows. They look SO beautiful in the snow!!!

We received a wonderful hand-me-down today --- one of those coffee machines which makes coffee one-cup-at-a time. You put a little individual pod of coffee in - and it brews away deliciously! I think the couple was given a newer one - and gave this to us -- because I don;'t know why anyone would give it up!!!!!
