I like the countdown to November 1st also!!! Lord I countdown to Labor Day so I can put the fall stuff out....

Yes, we have - well - a lot more than flurries!
Looks like about 2-3 inches is on the ground already and it's still coming down. What a treat to see when I got up this morning!
(And since it's so beautiful, I might just STAY up this time, Bing!)

61?! OMG lucky.. Im browsing the web from dresses,My Isabella has her school dance this sat..Im so bad,I have a dress,but its white and has yellow flowers on it,its got thin straps and I have a yellow shrug,but..I really wanted her to get another one more suitable for a winter ball.

The forecasters called for a 100% chance of snow- 2-4 inches- they closed schools, the unversities, the bases, etc.. and two guesses.....

NOT EVEN A FLURRY...

Can't wait for the spin the forecasters put on this- they never ever have any idea here what is going on...

Beautiful Inauguration Day in Washington, DC. Things went so smoothly. Think how grateful those millions of people - out in the freezing cold - would have been for a delicious cup of coffee! (For security reasons - they could not bring thermoses onto the mall.) I bet that drank a LOT of warm beverages when the day was over!

Good evening!!! It was cold here today, although we did make it all the way to the double digits...10º!! But our house was plenty warm!!! I kept thinking this morning that it was warm in our house, but I do the stairmaster in the mornings, so I thought I was just warm from working out... Well, right before I left for work I thought "HOLY SMOKES, it is warm in here" so I looked at the thermostat & It said it was 75º! Thermostat was set on 70 & furnace was still running! So I called my hubby to see if he had turned it up for a bit this morning, just to warm up the house & he said no, he didn't touch it. So I hit "run program" & went to work. Told my hubby I would go home in a hour or so to check it. Well...got busy at work, so didn't get to check it til about 10:00 & when I got home, it was 84º & furnace was STILL running!!! I flipped the thermostat to "off" & it kept right on running - now it's up to 85º! Felt like a sauna! Called the plumbing & heating company & they came out to fix it...said it was just a relay gone bad. That was my "excitement" for the day!! Lol!

It was so beautiful outside this morning. Early on we had lots of fog & then it cleared off & left the trees & shrubs looking absolutely gorgeous! They were all white & sparkly. It was snowing a little! So pretty!

:-? What is warm weather? I can't remember.

Still pretty cold around here about 13 F. Brrrr! My office at work, however, is too hot. I have to put the ceiling fan on and yet in other parts of the building it's cold.

Yesterday, I almost went out to roll in the snow to cool off. :cry: I am not a Polar Bear, but was having a few "hot moments".

Meeting last night another one tomorrow night, it's Hump Day and all I'd like to do when I get home tonight is sleep.

At the end of the month, I'll read over my Christmas cards before packing them away to bring out again for Christmas in July.

Perhaps the REAL reason folks couldn't bring coffee was the fact there was only one portable toilet for every 4,000 people!

We wound up with about 4" of snow here. Most we have had in nearly 5 years, which gives you an idea as the the paltry annual snowfall we usually have in these parts.
Most is gone from the roads already, but it still looks nice elsewhere.
