TrackRebel -- celebrating Rudolph Day for me often involves playing with Christmas items -- gifts, wrapping supplies, decorations, the Christmas notebook, etc. Of course, I don't say that I am playing. I say that I am "organizing things".
Sometimes I read threads at our sister site, MagicalHolidayHome.com -- about Christmas notebooks or things to do on Rudolph Day.
And then, there are the Rudolph Days when I have Christmas parties - without telling any of the guests that they are Christmas parties. I had a brunch in September of 2008 -- so it could be outside in good weather. And I could invite lots of people because it was outside. I didn't tell people it was my "Christmas brunch". But I invited all the people that I WOULD HAVE invited to a Christmas brunch, if I had enough room inside. It was very nice. I was happy. The guests were happy. Even my husband was happy --- he sometimes likes to go to parties but does not like to give them. But he was playing golf that day - so he escaped the work and had a nice day too. So everyone was happy.
