Is there anything special that happens in February that you enjoy?
For me - it is when the displays of garden seed packages appear in the stores. I know that they are already in the specialty stores -- but it is nice when they appear in the regular grocery stores. You come around the corner -- and there they are!!!
I know that my husband would say that the lead-up to the Super Bowl is pretty terrific!

yes, my birthday! although is that such a good thing now that i am getting older? i admit to being spoiled on my birthday by my partner and my family so it is lovely.
i will also be having my baby's first scan on 20th february this year so that will be terrifying/exciting!

February...it´s the month I like the least....even tho Michael Jordan and Johnor were born in it....it´s my least favorite month of the year.....but one good, fun thing....Carnival is during Feburary...the season already started...but the big days are going to be in February...so that´s fun......I´m goin to keep occupied with finding presents for Kandice....since she turns 3 on March 9th....also to plan a bit for her birthday...how to celebrate...what cakes to bake and on....so looking at it now...February doesn´t look so bad....does it?

I agree!!! I get so excited when all the gardening stuff comes out!! Other things are my Moms birthday (will be 80 February 1st!) the start of the Nascar season with the Daytona 500, our annual bowling bash, Valentines Day (though we don't really do anything "special" for V-day - I like all the commercials & the hearts & cupids on webpages, etc...) I normally start tomato & pepper seedlings for the garden in February & the greatest thing is - next month is MARCH!!!! Which means water being turned back on at the lake in 1 month!! (April 1st) So many things to look forward too!! :-D (I have to keep reminding myself of that...)
23rd february, i will be 24 this year. i hear it's all down hill after 25... just kidding! cheesy

Hey I always felt like it was all down hill after 25 too! Now that I'm 29...or I mean 34, I guess I shouldn't think like that! I always tell people that I'm 29. It's part of my plan to totally confuse people and it's working. hee,hee!
March 17th is my birthday....this year it´s my 28th....it´s not going downhill....but time is running since then....like crazy

) I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow. Yip! That's right!There's a store that opened in mid-November and it closes at the end of January so I'm headin' there to get some great deals on some of the most beautiful decorations and gift ideas. It's like a miniature Bronner's.
Note to self: Stay away from the Stocking Stuffer mixes, they'll be beyond their best before date come Dec/09.

: Bad news, it's snowy again with freezing temps expected overnight making my trek a little icy tomorrow.

My day was ok,Isabella is sick with a chest cold and nasel drip.figures tomorrow is her Winter Ball,got her dress and all.we'll have to see how she's feeling tomorrow night,but I have a feeling she's gonna go.she doesn't want to miss it.

I bought two more Christmas presents this week. A book on how to attract birds to your garden and how to identify them, for a friend who lives nearby and loves her cottage garden - reduced from £13 (approx $26) to £4 ($8), and a huge set of nail varnishes, emery boards etc in a case, reduced from £18 ($36) to £4 ($8).
Still hugely stuck for ideas for 18 and 16-year-old nephews if anyone has any ideas?

Have a nice Saturday fellas....It´s a nice day today...sun is shining...but it´s getting a bit cold again...but that´s alright....Fiance is accompanies his friend to the airport....he´s flying home to Guinnea to visit with fmaily and get married....(albeit he has girlfriends over here....but that´s a different story)....my fiance´s friend....not my fiance.........I might visit with the Grandparent´s....or drive to Toys´R US...to check for the next children´s car seat for Kandice...if they have any offers....I might do it next week tho...since...there´s no money on the account....so...

Happy Saturday morning!!! I don't know what's wrong with me today, but it's SATURDAY & I was out of bed before 7 am!! I like to sleep in a little on Saturdays - ah well!! It's still dark outside & 19º! I'm trying to be quiet cuz sleeping beauty (the hubby) is still sawing logs! Never wake a sleeping baby!!! Good morning! I had last read pg 18 a while ago, and today find we are up to pg 58. It took me a while to catch up.
I was hit with the cold-bug going around. Not to mention life in general.
Tonight is actually my work Christmas party. Our company doesn't "do" Christmas parties, but we employees get together anyway and do a thing on our own.
It's been a busy month with training seminars and meetings. We try to get it all out of the way before the busy season starts back up. I'm part of a Customer Service training team and will get to train my peers on Customer Service.
