I like to celebrate the start of Fall many times... September 1st, the Tuesday after Labor Day, on the Equinox, and pretty much any other time it strikes me!

Happy September Teens! Today folks we have 76 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 49 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be Tom Turkey Day but that’s not for almost 2 weeks still. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our Fun Fact Friday which is below!
Female turkeys don't gobble. Only male turkeys make the well-known "gobble, gobble" sound that has come to be associated with the holiday. In fact, male turkeys are even known as "gobblers." Females make other noises, such as purring and cackling.
Well, that’s interesting and I never knew that. I thought all turkeys gobbled. Hmm well you learn something new every day. I guess this Fun Fact Friday really is wide-ranging with the facts I’m able to find. Sometimes I wonder if they’re true though. But I’m sure Rich who is our resident turkey expert can confirm if that is true. Doesn’t matter what you are in this thread you can gobble all you want. Who doesn’t like making that gobble gobble noise? David on QVC always does on Thanksgiving Eve when he does his show. Ok turkey friends I hope your Friday gets off to a great start today. Happy September Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 75 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 48 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be Tom Turkey Day which will not be for another 12 days. That’d be a dozen days from now. We move along in our Awesome Autumn feeling good and I hope your week went well. Now we move into our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. Lots of fun stuff ahead my friends this quiet weekend period. I bet there is some football out there you may want to see or plans outside you may want to do with the nice, lovely September weather most of us experience. And whatever your plans are going to be I hope you enjoy this weekend. And thanks for stopping by the Thanksgiving Thread. I wish you all a great Saturday as we move into the weekend of Bonus Week. That extra 11th week from the week after Labor Day through the week before Thanksgiving. That is what the “heart” of Autumn is I do believe. We still have our full normal 10-week stretch ahead of us. And right on time as summer will last 1 more week officially and just in time for that transition I’ll be watching Halloween shows and beginning my autumn activities ramping up starting next week as well. Happy Mid-September! Today folks we move along and see that we have 74 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 47 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of Autumn which is 1 week from today. But friends we move along in our Awesome Autumn and our Quiet Weekend Period Part 2 with what I love to call the heart of autumn gearing up starting tomorrow. Autumn technically doesn’t start until next Sunday. But I always say the 10 weeks between the week after Labor Day through the weekend before Thanksgiving is the heart of autumn. And we got a bonus this year which was this week. But now with the 100-Day Marker till Christmas coming up and the heart of autumn all at the same time it can’t be denied that these are the most special days folks if you are a lover of autumn. No offense to the Christmas Season but I still love autumn as much as anything. And it’s a great time of year. With all the build and keeping the holidays all in front of us is a great feeling too. So time to get ready soon for all your fall activities and those cooler temps will eventually start to stick more. Right now it’s been back and forth as the seasons battle for supremacy. Turkey friends get ready to gobble up autumn. Have a great Mid-September!

I think there is a huge lacking of November/Thanksgiving movies. There are tons of Christmas movies, which makes me SO happy. There is probably more Halloween movies than Christmas ones (maybe). Although, the Thanksgiving ones are few and far between. There should be more, I think. Guess that's my weird two cents.

Happy 2nd Half Of September! Today folks we move along and see that we start off our brand new week with 73 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 46 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Sunday friends when we officially welcome in the wonderful season known as Autumn. That is our season friends but here we already are in our Awesome Autumn as we begin this 2nd half of September. And it’s Monday so let’s do our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week shall we? It stands at 10 weeks. I always reference these 10 weeks as the “Heart of Autumn”. It always feels like the bulk of it to me so I’m excited for a fresh start to this season at least internally. There are so many milestones and turning points that we often get to celebrate multiple times when seasons start, shift, change and end. I think that’s what makes it special though and more fun. Turkey friends I trust you are doing well to start the week. And I hope you are enjoying the start to it. I hope that you all are doing well and feeling ok. This is The Bers and as I said in the Hang Out today the first half of September almost feels like a warmup/transition into being fully in The Bers. I really feel like this is the week where you’ll feel a bigger difference. A couple of weeks into the NFL season now and Autumn officially arriving next weekend. 100 days till Christmas too. Just feels different now. Get the most out of each day starting with this one today. Have a great 2nd Half Of September!
