Evening Halloween Fans! Yep this time of year is very strange for us Halloween Fans because all of us are big fans of Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's not the total sadness though like there is when Christmas ends. That's one thing Halloween has over Christmas. Happy Halloween!

I am missing my Halloween decor, especially my Peanuts Halloween Village but I am making good process on cleaning, I really like my new Swiffer.

I’m in a weird place right now. I’ve moved on to Thanksgiving and Christmas and am happily basking in the glow of a new season, but I also am beginning to miss Halloween even though it just ended. It hasn’t even been gone a week yet! Last night I watched the movie Coco (which is themed around Dia de los Muertos) to help me process my feelings.

So yes, my heart is full of different and competing emotions, but I’m too excited about what’s ahead to let it get me down. And truthfully, I’m excited about the journey back!

I know how you feel. Especially now going in stores and stuff, you see the Halloween items on clearance, and even seeing them there gives the ole heart a pang, even though Halloween was one week ago.

I honestly try and block those feelings out of my mind right now, and our "reward" when we get back to hardcore counting in January is a dramatically reduced count towards our first batch of special dates in this thread - JOL Day #1, Spooky Spring, and Halfoween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Election Day. I will be so glad when all that is over and we can start moving on with our lives, either dealing with the good or bad that comes from it.

Still full counts this morning and that's how it's going to stay for quite a long while as we navigate through Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Tomorrow we break into the 350's on Days to Halloween, with a "mini milestone" coming up next Friday when we hit 350 Days to go.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Post Election Day! I was lucky that I was able to sleep almost all night, unlike the 2020 election. I don't think I will be tired today, I woke up at about 5:15 and the race had been called by then. Now we can move on with our lives!

You'll see from the "full counts" above that we have now entered into the 350's on our "Days to Halloween" count, which I always refer to as our "mini milestone day", when we reach 350 days out and have marked the passage of roughly two weeks.

And it's Wednesday, everybody knows how much I love Wednesdays. Life is pretty good right now. I'm excited to finish decorating inside for Christmas this weekend now that I have my lights hung up outside.

Happy Thursday Morning Folks! Mini Friday! I'm heading into a 3 day weekend. And the weather here is going to be really warm, like borderline Sweat-Fest warm, so that might make for an easier day cleaning up / raking up leaves, etc., than doing it in the cold and wind.

Still wrapping my head around these full counts. I think we were used to them looking "skinny" for so long. But it's good. And they will look so vastly different after Christmas, I promise.

350 is a pretty neat little milestone, not just for Halloween but for any holiday here on MMC that we’re counting to. Halloween is still so far away, but I can’t help but smile when we hit that 350-day marker. It’s kind of a cool little reminder that, yeah, it’s kind of far out right now, but it’s still coming all the same, and we’ve got plenty of other fun milestones between now and then.
