happy Friday...hope all are fine....Weekend starts right now....with housework...haha...oh boy how I hate it...but oh well...it has to be...anyway...Kandice and I are healthy...fiance is alright as well....weather is great....really great....sun out, no clouds anywhere....a little windy...but that´s alright
 
I ordered the little Golden Book "Tootle" on Amazon and got the mail, that it has been sent....very happy about it...since it will be one of two small Easter presents for Kandice...the other will be the first season on Thomas and Friends....it only cost 1,50 on Ebay...how great is that?

You know, I was talking to my mom last Sunday (she lives in Missouri) and they had gotten snow, too, then...what crazy weather, huh?
Well, enjoy it while it lasts...I'm sure the temps are all over the place! :)
 
talked to my fiance´s niece called yesterday...she´s from Cameroon...but she studies in Finland right now....she says she´s freezing so much because there is still snow...she can´t wait for at least the snow to melt...poor thing

Days to Christmas Day:266
Barely over 3 weeks now to the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone, March 26.

The temp is 64 here in Raleigh at this hour. A nice walk-friendly reading.
Still wet and overcast but it is predicted to be sunny this afternoon and throughout the weekend. Great!

It is raining steadily here today, supposed to turn to snow tonight. But right now the temperature is good, I even have the window open in the living room (much to the delight of my cat!)

I am going cross eyed making tiny little decorations for my baby themed cake (diapers, powder, diaper rash cream, etc, etc) So I thought I would take a break and check out what was going on here.

I generally post in the morning and round off to the nearest day. In the AM, it was 265 days + over 12 hours, so I post 266.
Once you get past noon, we would be closer to 265 than 266 so it would be more accurate then to use the former figure.
 
Happy Friday to all. Just a few short days and we will be in the 100s for the Christmas Season countdown. Wow! Makes me happy just thinking about it. I am home from the hospital, awake and alert, but having to keep my foot propped up. Because of that and because of where my computer is, it is difficult to be on the computer. I have to twist my upper body and head to type and look at the screen--so my computer time is limited right now. When they put the cast on next week, I won't have to keep my foot up so much. It is really cold here in Northern California, and the wind is blowing. This coldness is a little unusual this time of year. Hope everyone has a great, coffee-filled weekend. I will have to increase my coffee consumption since I read the article that it helps with pain!!!

Happy Friday, Christmas loving Friends!! The weather was gorgeous yesterday and today it feels like November - I wanted to go Christmas shopping!! Seawaters, I hope you're pain-free soon!!

:hello: Tis Saturday in my "neck of the woods", the wee hours of the morning (or late hours of night depends on how you look at it) and I'm awake listening to the winds rattling the budless leafless trees and the flow of the creek is rushing like waves on the ocean.

All the sounds around me makes me feel like I'm back at the Shispering Pines. :tree:
 
:)) Think I'll be going shopping this weekend to pick up a few Spring surprises for the two youngest grandchildren. The older ones, we'll take shopping for clothes the next time we visit.

I love buying Spring toys for the grandchildren. I usually pick up a board game or craft materials along with fun toys to use outdoors and sometimes clothes. I do pretty good with their sizes and keep up with their tastes.

I also need more Scotch Tape ... running low ... very spooky ... must have Scotch Tape.
