DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 163
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 137
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 76

Happy Calm June! Today folks we move along and see that we have 163 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 137 days to go until November and 76 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday with the Arrival of Summer. It’s going to really feel like summer (and then some) coming up in the days ahead. Going to get hot. It’s that time of year, isn’t it? Summer is really approaching now, and the dog days of summer are ahead of us. I just wonder how hot it will be this summer. It’s Tuesday friends so please remember it is Picture Day. Yes, one of our favorite days of the week is here. Aren’t you excited about it? I am. Turkey friends I hope your Monday went well and that your Tuesday goes equally well. The best to all of you here this Tuesday. It is going to get hot here soon and people will say wow what happened? That’s how it goes when summer really gets going sometimes. But we’ll stay cool hopefully in some nice comfortable a/c type of weather. Turkey friends I hope your week is going well and you are doing well today. Just keep those turkey thoughts in your head as we approach official summer soon. And it will help you cool off a bit, I am sure. Have a great Calm June!

Loved all the pics this week!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 162
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 136
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 75

Happy Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 162 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 136 days left until November and 75 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving the day after tomorrow. It will be the official Arrival of Summer. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

When it gets hot this summer what is your favorite thing to do?
  • Put on the shorts/flip flops.
  • Jump in the pool.
  • Turn up the A/C.
  • Go to the beach.
  • Hmm I love A, not a big B person or D. I’m going to say C. I think turning up the a/c. I think without A/C when it gets really hot it is still hard to take even if you’re wearing less clothing. Turkey friends the best to you on this Wednesday. I hope you are all doing well. Have a great Mid-Week!

Easy answer - "C"! I still don't know how people a long time ago were able to live without AC in their cars and homes. Maybe they were just used to it so it was nothing out of the ordinary for them. My Grandmother told me that a long time ago we didn't have violently hot summers like we do now. Maybe that is true.

We sure are going to have some hot days the next couple of days. We get close to 100 by Sunday and I think I even saw a day or two that was in excess of 100 degrees next week by the time it starts cooling back down.

Have a great day!
