I will probably be back on here tonight to post my final thoughts/feelings of Thanksgiving 2025. I have a wonderful, full day ahead of me!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving! Today folks we move along into what this thread is all about. The reason we spend all year on this thread is because of today. It is Thanksgiving. Can you believe that? We now transition from the Awesome Autumn into the Happy Holidays portion of this thread. But this thread will end tonight, and a new one will begin. But right now, my main goal is to wish all of you the best today. I want to thank everyone for being here all year. Without you I could not do this thread. You help keep me going all year. And I’m glad we have fun in this thread all year with our various topics we come up with each day of the week. And our Quiet Weekend Periods. I remember 2 years ago when I was sick on Thanksgiving. That was the worst. I redeemed myself last year and had a great one. I hope you are all healthy and happy today. It’s time to make the special meal and celebrate with the people we are closest to. I know everyone is excited about what’s going to come today. Start it off with the parade. Continue it with football. And conclude it with our Thanksgiving dinner. The best traditions all happen on this day each year and I totally love them. I know you do too. CW don’t forget that cranberry sauce. Turkey friends, thanks again and I really hope you have the best Thanksgiving you’ve ever had. Have a great Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to the best Thanksgiving fans in the world!

FINAL THANKSGIVING THOUGHTS

You know one of the tough things about Thanksgiving is finding the time to post here. A busy day, for the most part. But a fun day. A day to be home most of the day. A day to be with family. A day to cook, laugh, eat and watch football. I truly love Thanksgiving. And I know you all do as well. It's such a wonderful day. It's a special day. It's a day full of tradition. And it only comes once a year. It's also such a huge turning point as now we are fully into the holiday season. I am glad we don't just count to Thanksgiving though. I'm thankful we have the entire Bers that we love and look forward to. It has been an amazing run. I am thankful for all of you being here. And I will be posting the new thread before I get ready for bed. I hope to see you all in the 2026 Thanksgiving Thread. Today is such a simple day yet so full too. It's such a joy to be on Thanksgiving. I'm thankful we got to experience it this year. And I think talking about it all year is fun. Because if you just wait for that one day to come it will not be nearly enough. That's what this thread is about. Enjoying talking about these special times all year long and remembering how awesome they are. Always looking forward to them while enjoying the present. I'll see you all in the new thread. Thank you for giving me the chance to do another year of this.

We are about to sign off on Thanksgiving 2025.

It was a truly special day for me. I was so happy to be able to have the big dinner up at the In-Laws that just a week ago we didn't know if we were going to get to have because John was still in the hospital.

And his doctors believe that by next month or early January, he is going to have the feeding port removed and he will be able to go back to eating / drinking normally. My MIL said that when he gets the clearance to go back to eating normally, we are going to have ANOTHER Thanksgiving style dinner so that John can be a full participant.

We've done a Friendsgiving/"Halfsgiving" before, but never something that scale in January. So i'm looking forward to that, not just because John will be fully recovered by then, but because we will get to have an almost repeat of Thanksgiving, in a time of the year (January) that we are usually missing the holidays the most.

Can't wait to see the new Thanksgiving thread! I'll be looking for it!

Forgot to check in here on Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is doing well! Made a 24 lb bird on the smoker this year. The stuffing (which obviously smoked but I didn't think about it) turned out great, and was a favorite! I guess that's a new tradition!
