Happy Winter Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 278 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 253 days left until November and 192 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone set to arrive in 3 days. It will be the 250-Day Marker till November. It will arrive on Tuesday. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And boy, I need a little quiet this weekend. It looks like we could be in for a possible big snowstorm which was supposed to miss our area. We’ll see what they say today but it will arrive on Sunday and last into and through a good part of Monday, as well. That’s how you quiet things down, stay home, play games and have fun. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well and enjoying your Saturday. I hope your week went well and that you are ready to enjoy your weekend to the most that you can. Gobble Gobble to all of you, my friends. And enjoy your Saturday doing errands, playing games, having fun, cleaning the house, doing laundry, food shopping, or just going out and having fun. Happy Snow Full Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 277 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 252 days left until November and 191 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving on Tuesday with the 250-Day Marker till November. It’s Sunday folks so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. It was quiet yesterday with the calm before the storm. But that’s about to end today. A big snowstorm is heading in and we’ll see how bad it gets here but plenty of snow is predicted for today, tonight and into Monday. Looks like I’ll be working from home Monday. I always say the one good thing about Covid is that it gives people more flexibility to do things like working from home. And I am thankful for that at least. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well on this Sunday and that your weather forecast is a bit more enjoyable than mine is. Such is winter in the northeast though as we have had several winters where it has been mild (and very little snow). Last winter we had a pretty cold winter but not much snow. This winter though I think it is topping last year in both easily. Turkey friends enjoy your Sunday. The Sunday Group is heading to brunch as we always try to find a way to do something no matter whether it’s rain, snow or shine. Have a great Snow Full Sunday!

The snow has started here as well. They are calling for 3 - 5 inches here. I don't see 5 inches personally because the ground is so warm, but in the last 20 - 30 minutes the snow has really started to cover the ground so to me it is entirely possible that we hit 3 inches by Monday morning.
Even though I don't like Mondays, I am so ready to be able to say goodbye to February and hello to THE MONTH OF HOPE, one week from today! I am so ready!

But today is Monday folks and one of our favorite weekly features happens today which is YouTube Day below!
Two of my favorite things are Sesame Street and Thanksgiving so combining them in today’s feature for YouTube Day is a plus for me. I really loved Sesame Street growing up and really it was my childhood. Some will say Mr. Rogers or other shows depending on when they grew up but for me it was always Sesame Street. Hard to believe it’s still on today but I’m glad some things continue in a world where everything seems to change. The best to you turkey friends. I’ve got a day of shoveling and working ahead of me but it’s ok. I’m thankful that I can work from home and still take care of all that snow out there. Have a great Final Week Of February!

I do remember Sesame Street, but I never watched it much as a kid. It got its fair share of viewing alongside Reading Rainbow, but I mostly watched the Nickelodeon shows. Does anyone else remember Mr. Wizard's World? I'd wake up super early on the weekends and watch that show until Saturday morning cartoons came on. There weren't any Thanksgiving episodes (not that I remember, anyway), but I'd be amazed at some of the stuff he did, even if it was basic science.

We move along in our Winter Wonderland on Milestone Day folks. It’s the 250-Day Marker till November today. Our next milestone will be on Thursday believe it or not (so soon?) with Tom Turkey Day #3. It’s an exciting time here in this thread. Winter has been ruthless for us this year. And after a 20-inch blizzard from Sunday through Monday, I’m done with it. But I don’t think Mother Nature cares about my feelings on winter. It’s Tuesday folks so time for Picture Day. Get all your pictures up and get ready of Fall and Thanksgiving. It’s a great time to post them whether you have rain, snow or shine out there. We love Picture Day and it’s always a blast to have fun with.
