Track - hope your grandmom gets better fast

Undrtakr - sorry to hear about your basement - I know the feeling...it's dreadful. Sorry about your decorations getting ruined but on the bright side now you have a reason to buy more!

I agree with Ballcoach - A great Friday, A Payday Friday.

We are taking the kids to the Phillies game tonight. My daughter's class was one of 10 classes in our Tri-State area to be picked for the Phillies Phanatic About Reading Program. They were picked based on the amount they read, they had to keep a log of all their times spent reading. Earlier in the year the Phanatic visited her school and presented all the kids in her class with a book. They made the local paper. Well tonights game is part of the Phanatic About Reading. We were offered dicounted tickets for tonights game plus the kids will get another book tonight.

Have a great day!

Thanks, Track! I haven't seen Santa Clause 1 in a very long time. The movie channels show 3 every other day, so i see it quite often. cheesy

Good Friday morning, my friends!

Good morning...HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! :D I had a nice surprise at the grocery store this week. I went to buy coffee & they had 4 bags of Boston Stoker Holiday Blend coffee beans! So I'm sipping on a holiday flavored coffee as I type...pretending to be sitting on the couch watching The Santa Claus with Track! LOL!!! Although, I love the movie Prance too! So cute!!!

Christmasstar - I think you should get out that Christmas tree for Christmas in July! Maybe the neighbors will think it's great & join you!! :-D

Sorry to hear about your basement Undrtakr - that is such a pain! But as mentioned - now you can get some NEW Christmas decorations!!! That's ALWAYS fun!! Glad your puter is ok!!!

Have a great weekend Christmas friends!!!

.....Some Christmas decorations are ruined.....
Oh, no! Say it ain't so, Undrtakr!

Well, for those without ruined decorations, Good Morning!

A bright and sunny one here for a change (although still some storms predicted for the afternoon).
We currently stand at a nice 74 here in Raleigh.

The end-of-the-work-week count:
Days to the Season: 168
Days to Christmas Day:210
Single digits to the 200-Day window tomorrow, Guys!

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!
"May your pleasures be many
Your troubles be few"
(Trivia question: What old TV show did that line come from?)

This sounds blissful!!!

It has really been hot here in Northern California--mostly in the high 90s (Farenheit--not sure of the spelling). I am not fond of hot weather at all. When I was a kid in NC, we lived at the river; so the summers were great. But now that I am old and live in NC (Northern California) the summers are miserable.

Is that right, Binger? I really appreciate your keeping us on track along with Track!!!

You two are the greatest. Otherwise, I would just read and forget to post, thinking I would do it later.

I have to do report cards this weekend, but as Bradmac pointed out, it is payday! Sometimes I forget!

On Wednesday (June 3) I am taking my third grade kiddos on a field trip to Waterworks Park in Redding (CA). They worked hard on learning multiplication facts throught the 12s.

On Thursday, (June 4) we will have our annual classroom pizza party where we order in Round Table Pizza. This is also a reward for learning multiplication. Love reward parties!

I have never taken kids to a water park before. Normally we go to totally educational places. I must be getting soft in my old age. Well, actually I am.

Okay, I have to get ready for work. Normally I go in around 7 a.m. or so. Today, though, I think I will wait another few minutes.

Oh, I know. Last night I went to an Elks Lodge function, and the entertainment for the ladies was a group called "Old Time Fiddlers." They were really good, even if they did play "Sherman's March to the Sea."

All right. I think we will make our quota. How many do we want by the end of June, Binger? And how many do we want by Christmas, Crown? Hey, Crown; wake up and smell the coffee!

I have a dragon cake to finish off today and deliver by 2 this afternoon. It is for one of the kids on my bus. Hope he likes it.

This sounds so cool. I bet s/he will be so happy! What flavor is the cake? Your cakes are so gorgeous, so I am sure the dragon one will be just as great!

I just noticed that the message counter didn't change for me, so my number of messages still shows as 478. Maybe it/he/she doesn't like a lot of little emails!
