Happy Mini Friday, Pumpkin People! And Happy Milestone Eve!
It feels like we just did this. We are once again standing on milestone eve. TOMORROW, we are going to reach 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON.
Starting this weekend, there will be only TWO COUNTS remaining in our main lineup that is still north of 200 days. That is incredible. Early March and we are only going to have TWO counts that are still in 200 day territory. We haven't had any 300's for a while.
I hope that everyone enjoys their Thursday, today begins our run of very warm weather, the next 4 days are going to be north of 75 degrees! Spooky Summer, maybe??

Happy Milestone Day! They are falling like dominoes now (almost too fast! So enjoy your "now" moments). And I hate losing an hour, but I'm looking forward to some warmer weather. But can do without heat, humidity, mosquitoes and .. ugh...chores. And yet I need all those things to fully appreciate Autumn. Yin/Yang..so goes life. Enjoy your Friday everyone.

Seeing 29 weeks until October is the one that hit me! And by the time my Easter decor goes down we'll be more than halfway through the 20s!

We have Sprang / Sprung (are any of those real words?) Forward, as here in these parts the clocks went an hour ahead as Daylight Savings Time ended early this morning.
We prepare for a new week of marching forward, and our next milestone comes into view - 50 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN which will be here on Wednesday!
Eagle-eyed calendar viewers will realize we have sort of a "cheat day" coming up on Friday. Does anyone know what it is? I decided that I am hoping to have my Spooky Spring movie schedule 100% ironed out and ready by this weekend, as it will mark only TWO WEEKENDS until Spooky Spring kickoff weekend, which we will talk about later this coming week as it gets a little closer.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Off to a new week now and a new start on this Monday and it just dawned on me that the mid-point of the month is coming THIS WEEKEND! Didn't the month of hope just start?
We will end the week in style as FRIDAY THE 13TH comes once more, in a repeat of last month, which is pretty rare. We won't have another Friday the 13th this year until November, well after Halloween Season has concluded, and in the very thick to Christmas Season! Should be interesting.
We will see our next milestone in this thread on WEDNESDAY, as we will reach only 50 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN, and we are now just ONE WEEK from arriving at the 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone!
Anybody seeing Easter Candy in their part of town? We have. You guys should know that if Easter Candy is out, it is the VERY FINAL CANDY SEASON before Halloween candy arrives back on the shelf!

Easter candy has been out here for a while now. Almost as early as Valentine’s Day. Will we see Halloween candy on shelves starting in July? Here’s hoping.
Same here, it was the type of day I wanted to end sitting out on the patio, and the last time I wanted to linger too long was definitely in October. I know it is too soon to even think about starting any pumpkin plants but today the weather whispered... "soon".

Tomorrow we are going to celebrate only 50 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. I can't believe the halfway point lies that close.
I was thinking just earlier this morning before writing this post, how different these counts will look even a month from now when Spooky Spring is in full swing, and as we come up on the halfway point, my focus will turn to Fall Preseason, which will lie only 100 days or so, at that point. Truly exciting times.
I have major greening in my back yard and a few patches of grass that are turning thick. I do absolutely believe I will be mowing grass here in 3 - 4 weeks as planned.

Spooky Spring and Halfoween just cannot come quickly enough this year. I’ve tried my best not to rush it because I’m trying to be more mindful of every day, but March is already dragging for me, and I get the “Halloween itch” every year around this time. However, Easter takes place early in April this year, so Spooky Spring might have to wait one more week before I celebrate in full. I think Easter is underrated enough already.
