Saturday night I was at my sister's house to give candy to the trick or treaters. This year the homes participated has decreased in the neighborhood. I guess it is caused from the high cost of candy.
I heard Halloween spending was down a bit over 6% this year and I was thinking the same thing, that with the increased cost of candy that there must be fewer people participating. Are Trunk or Treats popular in your area? I think there were fewer of those by me this year compared to last year.
