Oh, man…I love Easter, but Spooky Spring lasts the entire month. I guess my answer this week is A, but my answer next Monday would be C. I’m probably cheating a little bit with that answer, lol.

Happy Early April! Today folks we move along and see that we have 238 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 213 days left until November and 152 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Saturday. It will be the 150-Day Marker till The Bers. That’ll be big to be halfway from 200 to 100. It’s Thursday folks so it’s time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. It stands at 34 weeks folks. Can you believe that? I can. We are in a very special spot on the calendar. I feel like this might be the most underrated month of the year. April. I love this month and it just gives you such great spring vibes (and sometimes fall vibes too). As much as I look forward to summer every year and autumn is “the best” with the holiday season being “super special” I think spring might be just a very content time of year for me. I hope that you are content here on Thursday in the very early days of April. A lot to look forward to with Easter coming up soon. Spooky Spring is here. Just a great time of year and a great month. And in the Hang Out don’t worry we will be starting our Halfway to Halloween tradition and it will be 2 weeks of talking Halloween “stuff” to celebrate being halfway. Have a great Early April!

Seeing 34 weeks on the countdown makes me wish we were having turkey for Easter. But we’re not. It’s ham. Again.
We are having a turkey and ham for Easter so it will definitely feel like a Thanksgiving meal. I am looking forward to it for sure!

I would have guessed it’s been around 20 years so not far off. My brother has done several Friendsgivings and really enjoyed them. Maybe we can have one in this thread this year? I’ll bring the cranberry sauce. It sounds like a fun time though. I’m not sure though do people have it the day before Thanksgiving, or the day after or another random day? I guess it depends on everyone’s plans. No exact date is necessary, unlike Thanksgiving Day, which must be on the 4th Thursday of the month of November. It’s an unreal and awesome day here folks as we celebrate that marker and then as many of you who follow The Bers thread and the Hang Out thread know that means we have 100 days until we unveil the 2026 Annual 50 Day Preview of The Bers. That has become a highlight of my summer. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope that your week went well and you are ready for some quiet. My weekend will be a mixed bag. Not too quiet and not too crazy. Today will be a regular Saturday but also visiting my friend so technically busy. The Sunday Group is heading to my uncles to celebrate Easter with some chicken parm, lasagna and pastries. Hoping for a somewhat fun and somewhat laid-back weekend with a little adventure mixed in. Happy Saturday Folks! Looking at our menu tomorrow, if you didn't know it was Easter, you could easily feel like it would be either Thanksgiving, OR Christmas!
And running around the store yesterday with Holly, again, it was Holiday feels period. And I loved every minute of it. We redeemed our coupon at Martin's for the free ham, and again, that's a big time Thanksgiving OR Christmas move. I think this is the first time we ever did one for Easter.

I agree! This week had so many Thanksgiving Week feels. Thursday especially, since I am off for a four day weekend. Yesterday my brother hosted the siblings and SOs for brunch since everyone has other plans for Sunday and it was a nice way to start the long weekend. Since I am not hosting anyone I am taking down my Easter decor today and this is giving extra Thanksgiving feels.
