I'm ready for football to come back.
I might even start rooting for the Indiana Bears this year! LOL.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 243
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 218
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 157

Happy Final Weekend Of March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 243 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 218 days left until November and 157 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Wednesday. It will be the Arrival of April. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I’m glad about it being here. It’s going to be a lot of fun folks. Well, let me correct that it will also be laid-back. I’m purposely trying to make this one that way as I have plenty of other busy ones coming up this spring season. So, it’s always good and important to find ones you can make a little quieter, calmer and more about being near home base if not in home base. It’s not the nicest weather today for spring but we’ll take it. It’s not 0 and it’s not snowing. That’s a win after this winter that we’ve had. I hope you all had a good week and are ready for the big weekend ahead. It’s starting so get ready my friends and I wish you all well this Saturday. I hope you enjoy your weekend and everything that comes along with it. The best to all of you my turkey friends. Gobble Gobble your way through the entire weekend. Make the most of it. Have a great Final Weekend Of March!

Ouch! This hurts. I admit I don't follow football closely but my dad was a big Chicago Bears fan. The trailer for the new Harry Potter series and this have me feeling like an old grump!

This week is going to have some Thanksgiving feels as I let myself start finalizing plans for Easter weekend, along with that I plan to keep an eye out for sales on Easter stuff that I can use for this year's Great Pumpkin Egg Hunt, so in a way I will have some "feels" for 3 holidays all rolled into one week!

Easter got a little Thanksgiving!

I'm with you on Harry Potter. Everybody on these boards should know how much the main series means to me, even though I haven't read a single book (but plan to read the entire thing in my lifetime, it is on my bucket list for sure).

I'm keeping thoughts mainly to myself, but I have a lot of issues with what I saw. The best way I can describe it, would be if you watched a video of people living in your house, especially if your house was decorated nearly exactly the same.

I know it comes out at Christmas, and HP always makes me think of Halloween and Christmas, but I don't think we'll be watching it in this house. I'm honestly really torn on that too because I love HP. Maybe I will re-evaluate when I get closer to the date.

I know it will be impossible for me to not watch the first episode, after that I will give myself permission to stop or maybe wait until the entire season is over and watch it casually, binge style, while I am in and out of the room, doing chores, etc... I didn't know that it was coming out at Christmas and I think that bit of information is adding to my negativity. We can not talk about it together!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 242
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 217
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 156

Happy Late March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 242 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 217 days left until November and 156 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Wednesday when April Arrives. Wow. We will begin the 2nd quarter of the year at that point folks. It’s Sunday friends so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And the Sunday Group is having a rather quiet (but fun as always) Sunday. We’re going to our favorite dinner place which we found last year and now made a quarterly thing (ironically). And then we’re coming back to review the spring, we started planning and planning (at least loosely) the summer as well. We have a list of things we want to do that we keep year-round which helps us fill out the schedule when we look at it. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well and enjoyed your week. It’s hard to believe that we are here approaching the end of March soon but that’s where we stand. The best to you, all my friends, this Sunday. I hope you enjoy the time with your family and/or friends. Enjoy it and I also hope your weather improves today and you have a nice day out there. Have a great Late March!

Happy Sunday! We had a casual conversation yesterday about maybe attempting a Halfway to Thanksgiving / Halfsgiving this year, since last year during that time we were in the hospital having Jason.

It felt good to even talk about Thanksgiving, like it always does. Have a great day!

This is the time of year that I am very ready for Spring, even Summer temps so my daydreams are mostly about Thanksgiving, not November. Spring planting isn't far away but I am no hurry for harvest, just yet. This is probably my quiet time, not just here and on the weekends, but overall.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 241
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 216
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 155

Happy Next To Last Day Of March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 241 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 216 days left until November and 155 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive the day after tomorrow with the Arrival of April. It’s Monday folks so it’s time for YouTube Day below!

Teen Titans Go has always been a cartoon I kept a distant eye on as an adult. It seemed like my type of cartoon and to see them have a Thanksgiving episode is cool and one I’d like to check out. Ever notice how almost every single Thanksgiving Episode has a picture right away of everyone around the Thanksgiving Dinner Table? I think that symbolizes Thanksgiving more than anything. Not sure if there is a bigger food holiday out there. The Superbowl might be #2 believe it or not. Christmas Eve might be up there also. I think Christmas Day everyone is thinking about gifts and Halloween is more about candy. The best to you my turkey friends as you embark on a new week here as we approach the end of March soon. Have a great Next To Last Day Of March!

Happy Monday! This week will remind me a lot of Thanksgiving week, as we are already talking about having to go back to the store for ingredients, for our Easter dinner this weekend. I will never turn down eating a Ham or deviled eggs. And even though all in my family honor Easter and the significance of that day, it is impossible to not sort of "feel like" Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I say it every year, maybe sounding like a broken record, but I love Easter Sunday because of being with my in-laws and it's impossible to not register that family time and associate with Thanksgiving or Christmas Feels! I'm ready for all the feels! Especially after finding that Fall jackpot at Hobby Lobby on Saturday.

Have a great day!

Lots of good insights in the thread this morning. I do really agree with Edge in that the images of everyone sitting around the table for Thanksgiving dinner really symbolizes Thanksgiving in the best and most familiar way. And then with Snake relating Easter to Thanksgiving…Easter really does feel like sort of a Spring Thanksgiving, doesn’t it? The significance behind each holiday is different, but it’s impossible not to draw parallels.

I think Easter is the spring Thanksgiving for sure!
