TGIF For Sure! And, Happy Thanksgiving!

You too!TGIF For Sure! And, Happy Thanksgiving!
Ouch! This hurts. I admit I don't follow football closely but my dad was a big Chicago Bears fan. The trailer for the new Harry Potter series and this have me feeling like an old grump!I'm ready for football to come back.
I might even start rooting for the Indiana Bears this year! LOL.

This week is going to have some Thanksgiving feels as I let myself start finalizing plans for Easter weekend, along with that I plan to keep an eye out for sales on Easter stuff that I can use for this year's Great Pumpkin Egg Hunt, so in a way I will have some "feels" for 3 holidays all rolled into one week!DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 243
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 218
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 157
Happy Final Weekend Of March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 243 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 218 days left until November and 157 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Wednesday. It will be the Arrival of April. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I’m glad about it being here. It’s going to be a lot of fun folks. Well, let me correct that it will also be laid-back. I’m purposely trying to make this one that way as I have plenty of other busy ones coming up this spring season. So, it’s always good and important to find ones you can make a little quieter, calmer and more about being near home base if not in home base. It’s not the nicest weather today for spring but we’ll take it. It’s not 0 and it’s not snowing. That’s a win after this winter that we’ve had. I hope you all had a good week and are ready for the big weekend ahead. It’s starting so get ready my friends and I wish you all well this Saturday. I hope you enjoy your weekend and everything that comes along with it. The best to all of you my turkey friends. Gobble Gobble your way through the entire weekend. Make the most of it. Have a great Final Weekend Of March!
Easter got a little Thanksgiving! This week is going to have some Thanksgiving feels as I let myself start finalizing plans for Easter weekend, along with that I plan to keep an eye out for sales on Easter stuff that I can use for this year's Great Pumpkin Egg Hunt, so in a way I will have some "feels" for 3 holidays all rolled into one week!

I know it will be impossible for me to not watch the first episode, after that I will give myself permission to stop or maybe wait until the entire season is over and watch it casually, binge style, while I am in and out of the room, doing chores, etc... I didn't know that it was coming out at Christmas and I think that bit of information is adding to my negativity. We can not talk about it together!I'm with you on Harry Potter. Everybody on these boards should know how much the main series means to me, even though I haven't read a single book (but plan to read the entire thing in my lifetime, it is on my bucket list for sure).
I'm keeping thoughts mainly to myself, but I have a lot of issues with what I saw. The best way I can describe it, would be if you watched a video of people living in your house, especially if your house was decorated nearly exactly the same.
I know it comes out at Christmas, and HP always makes me think of Halloween and Christmas, but I don't think we'll be watching it in this house. I'm honestly really torn on that too because I love HP. Maybe I will re-evaluate when I get closer to the date.
Glad us normal people can talk about Thanksgiving in March!Happy Sunday! We had a casual conversation yesterday about maybe attempting a Halfway to Thanksgiving / Halfsgiving this year, since last year during that time we were in the hospital having Jason.
It felt good to even talk about Thanksgiving, like it always does. Have a great day!
I think Easter is the spring Thanksgiving for sure!Lots of good insights in the thread this morning. I do really agree with Edge in that the images of everyone sitting around the table for Thanksgiving dinner really symbolizes Thanksgiving in the best and most familiar way. And then with Snake relating Easter to Thanksgiving…Easter really does feel like sort of a Spring Thanksgiving, doesn’t it? The significance behind each holiday is different, but it’s impossible not to draw parallels.
