May — arguably the biggest turning point of the year for me. Once we hit May 24th, no more doldrums! Just a smooth, downhill coast into the second half of the year and onward to the Bers. Although I do have to contend with the SweatFest first.

Definitely!“Finish the fight.” You got this, bro!
Big Month Ahead!May — arguably the biggest turning point of the year for me. Once we hit May 24th, no more doldrums! Just a smooth, downhill coast into the second half of the year and onward to the Bers. Although I do have to contend with the SweatFest first.
Rainy day here!Gobble Gobble! I'm hoping to get my front yard mowed today before the rains move in! Abby and I went and got a trailer full of mulch first thing this morning, I'm hoping to get to start spreading some of it today if it doesn't rain on me, but tomorrow looks sunny so I can always do it then. I am going to throw a tarp over the trailer if it starts raining, if I don't the mulch will weigh a million pounds and make it impossible to unload!
Have a great day!
We've literally missed meeting up in person like 3 times in the last 2 years so it was weird not to meet up last Sunday (but we did talk)!@Edge612 , I'm glad your Sunday group is back, I hope you have a great day. My day to get chores done is today, I have a busy week ahead and it will help to start it ahead, not behind. In fact, I may not check back in until Thursday for the Weekly Count!
Nice list!Sides, in order from my most to least favorite, based on what we usually have at my wife’s grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving:
1. Mac and cheese (you saw it coming)
2. Dressing/stuffing and brown butter gravy (but only the kind my wife makes — other dressings are too unpredictable)
3. Mashed potatoes
4. Sweet potatoes
5. Warm rolls/biscuits with butter
6. Corn
7. Peas
8. Green beans/green bean casserole
9. Cranberry sauce
So basically lots of carbs. And also, that’s right — I’m not a big cranberry sauce guy. I agree that it’s iconic, and that it’s gotta be on the table, but I’ve never cared for it and will not reach for it unless there’s no other sides.
