I had a GREAT Father's Day! My kids brought me breakfast in bed...waffles with images of Star Trek characters on them! They got me a new electric razor, too. My old one was shot.

Hello Binger-Baby! How's tricks??? I see you're still the same java addict you've always been! I'm enjoying one of my last remaining cups of 2008 Starbucks Christmas blend in your honor!!!

Life is good in Christmastown! We're gearing up for the season, I've begun work on a new show for MerryChristmasRadio, life is beginning to look red and green again! Won't be long at all before we see the stores gearing up! And as Binger said previously, we are now heading into the dark!!!

Yeah yesterday WAS the longest day with daylight. It was light till about 10pm est where I was! Christmas is a comin!
 
Thanks for the good thoughts everyone. I just got mom home and settled in from her surgery. Everything went great and the the doctor said that everything was exactly like he thought and there were no surprises. The surgery went so good that he got done in two hours instead of the three and a half that he had planned on. So now mom just has to figure out how to get around with a walker and one foot for six weeks and hope she doesn't hurt the other foot hopping on it for so long. Only four days to the halfway mark. Where has this year gone. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY !!!!!!!!!!
 
Hi everyone. I hope all are fine......Kandice´s cold is finally breaking out....and she got me sick, too....my throat is sore...and my ears are sore...and I hate it...I´m sure tomorrow I will take Kandice to the doctor and then head there myself...:(...anyways....weather seems to start lightening up slowly...very happy about that....Kandice and Jones are eating some dinner...I´m done...not feeling hungry...Hope I will sleep.

glad Kandice is feeling better, but you know as a mom you do not have to do everything she does! Hope you feel better soon.
 
Everyone can relax!
Minta has once again volunteered to do the count for the 13 mornings I will be away.
This will encompass the 1/2 way mark to Christmas Day, which I am sorry to miss.
I'm sure the board will give that auspicious day the recognition it deserves.
(Fortunately, it falls on Friday, when everyone will be in a celebratory mood, anyway!)

Good Tuesday morning! (at least its not monday hehe) It is a cool morning but going to be a hot and sticky afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm. Makes me long for those nice fall days...sigh hehe. OH and Im starting my Christmas shopping this weekend!!!!

OMG It is soooooooo hot here again today. Air temps are to hit 100 today and heat index is to hit 110. And ALL of my work today is outside! BOOOOO. As much as I can I will blast the AC in the car and play my favorite summer Christmas CD to help me think of chillier times.

Hot here too. 100 - 102 for the next 6 days then a break. They have 99 degrees forcasted for next Tuesday. WOOOHOOO!!! A cold front!!!

Good morning Christmas friends! Just another Tuesday..another day closer to the nice fall weather..and Christmas of course cheesy

We have a few hot and humid days coming up here in Maryland... Im suppose to go to the Orioles baseball game Friday night..hope my really pregnant self can make it through a few innings!

It will be strange to be gone from here for two weeks.
In the 6 or 7 years I have been on this and the preceeding two Christmas forums, I have never been away for that many days in a row.
(On the other hand, just imagine how far the count will have advanced by July 7th!!)

And again speaking of the count:
Days to the Season: 143
Days to Christmas Day:185
Under half a week now to the half-way milestone to Christmas Day!

Still and sunny outside here in Raleigh at this hour where we stand at 72.
It will be dry for the drive south but hot.

Well, << sniff >> see you in 2 weeks.
