It’s time to upset the apple cart: The Polar Express is not a good movie. Any time I speak out in opposition of a beloved Christmas movie I get pushback. I did that with White Christmas and I still haven’t heard the end of it. That’s just one of the things about tradition. Start tipping […]![]()

I can't stand The PolarExpress! I watched it once, and I hated it even before it was half over. I watched the entire thing only because I always need to see a movie through until the end, for some reason. I have never decided to try watching it again, just incase I change my mind about it, because it was just that bad. It’s time to upset the apple cart: The Polar Express is not a good movie. This is what gets me. The first half is...okay, but the ending really is what made me like it. Santa speaking to the kids, the conductor giving his goodbyes, the parents at the end is what I think stood out to me the mostI wasn't crazy about it at first but it's grown on me over the years. It's the ending scene that draws me back.
The CGI art style does kinda ruin it for me. I like the movie and the message behind it but yeah, I could do without the art style and a few of the scenes, lolIt was playing on a tv at a Christmas party once, but I couldn't really pay attention to it. I didn't like the weird CGI-type animation. The only thing I know I like is the Josh Groban song from the soundtrack, lol. I might have to watch it just to see what y'all are talking about.
