Uh...is there really snow in Texas? I don't recall that from my time there.
It is wishful thinking on his part, (he's my hubby by the way cheesy). We might get 1 or 2 rounds of snow per year and it amounts to 1 inch, if we are lucky! We never get a white Christmas though. :-?
Also the Amarillo area gets a lot of heavy snow. That is way up in the northern part of Texas. We are not too far from the Red River but far enough to rarely see snow. We will keep wishing for that white Christmas someday!

Based on weather data from 1961–1990, in most parts of Texas there is a 0% chance there will be at least one inch of snow on the ground on December 25. :-? Two exceptions: a 3% chance in Abilene, in central Texas, and a 7% chance in Amarillo, up north in the Texas panhandle.
